I really like this place. I used to come here a lot, but then they raised the price on imported 32 ounce beers to $10. My mind just says inexpensive beer at Mexican restaurants. Right now the 32 Oz. is on sale. A really good sale. When they raise the price I'll quit coming again. But the combo fajitas are very good here. And when I come by myself I get the Macho burrito. Good value! For the most part the service is great! Once in a while you get a dud but thats everywhere.
This is by far the best el nopal in the area. Service and food are both always 10/10. My partner and I go often and we are both picky eaters so our order is more on the complicated side. Never has our food been wrong. I've probably been here a hundred times and have never had a bad experience.
First of all I ordered some cheese and sour cream as my granddaughter puts it on her rice not knowing I was going to be charged $5 for it. Then she wanted a virgin Pina Colada which was also $5 which would have been fine if she could have drank it. I tasted it and it was terrible. I asked the server if he could add some strawberry syrup to it but that didn't help. It had a sour like taste. She took a couple of sips of it. I believe if there's an extra charge for something...
