We were in Louisville for guys weekend. After a long day of tasting it was good to stop and get dinner. Huge portions and good food. The place was full of drunk people which was loud but the food was good.

For just a small chesse a chip is 9$ and some change this isn’t right at all! To damn high for no reason!
We went there for my birthday, had been wanting to try it the entire time I have been in Louisville, turns out it was the best Mexican food I have had in a very long time. The Margaritas were top notch! Walked in was sealed, drink order taken, chips and salsa left, server brought glasses of water to us without being asked. Most places you have to ask before getting them. Less than 5 minutes drinks were in front of us and Food order taken, within 10 minutes food was on the table and phenomenal! Very large portions, we both brought food back. The staff were impressive with their kindness and hospitality! Will definitely be back.

Fried food tasted bad. I had a #8 combo and both fried food tasted like the fryer or oil needed to be cleaned/changed.

This el nopal kind of skimps u on food. Every other one I get quesadillas from they’re loaded. This one is barely even half that and they give u less rice and lettuce all while keeping the price the same kind of disappointed especially cuz it usually fills me up but ik this won’t🫤 hate to say but I won’t be going back to this location again. The one in Hillview off Preston next to beef o Brady’s is far superior compared to this one. It’s the one I go to 99% of the time. Save your money go there

Typical Mexican food. Big, cheap, fresh. But I don’t like their sauce.

BEST El Nopal location! I am here nearly weekly and have tried a variety on the menu. The atmosphere is perfect, the staff is so friendly, and the food is excellent. I recommend the al pastor tacos and fresh margarita!

They are surprisingly quick at making a take out order. Their food tastes great and they have pleasant workers. Always happy with a business that has consistency.
