Used to be our favorite spot to go would go once or twice a week. But prices have gone up and quality has gone down. And margaritas have gotten weak 🤨

I didn't think there was a bad El Nopal but I found it. It wasn't really the restaurant but the server

got a togo order of a 16 oz queso with extra chips , got there and it was an 8oz so i told them i ordered the bigger one and the man who took my order sat there and argued with me about what he heard me say for 5 minutes. they never fixed it either.

We have eaten at El Nopal quite, typically Middletown, but tonight was our first time at this location. Over $80 for my wife, my two young kids (1 had an ala cart chicken burrito w/ rice and the other one hard taco) and myself. They charged $6 dollars to put queso on two burritos instead of red sauce, charged for two adult drinks instead of kids. For the quality of food, $80+ is rediculous. We will find somewhere else going forward.
TLDR: Service was fine and the food was fine. Overcharging for everything will lead my business elsewhere.

We go here about once a month and always have good food and service. Birria tacos are great!
I noticed reviews griping about the prices, I also noticed kids sitting down at tables and gorging on chips and salsa and then leaving. No wonder a coke there is $3.50. everything is more expensive now if you hadn't noticed
I've never had a bad experience at this location. I order out enough from them that they know my voice. Love it

I was told they did not have plain chicken quesadillas when I went for a late lunch so I got 2 tacos instead. The taco meat was unseasoned and bland.

This just isn't my favorite style of food from Mexico. I'm more California/

I do not like to leave bad reviews. This place is not up to par with other el napol's in the area. The food is barely just okay. They stuck the only people in the restaurant in the back with a party. The server was nice but did not check on us, but maybe twice. The party was more important.

Fair meal. Did not like menu selections. Food was mediocre. Good service. Did not offer a senior or military discount. Not worth the money. Taco Bell across the road would have been better.
Highway robbery! Beware of this place! We were overcharged by at least $30, however staff conveniently couldn't speak English well enough to explain charges. We were charged $7 for a side of sour cream and $8 for a side of guacamole. My daughter's kid's meal had $3 upgrade charge to have cheese in the bean and cheese burrito. We definitely won't return.
