My problem is with open table. You guys made a reservation for me at a restaurant that was closed. Seems the left doesn't know what the right is doing and I was caught in the middle. Will not use open table app again.

We loved coming to the Black Jockey when in Louisville but the last two times were disappointing. This past weekend, me and another friend made reservations then got emails stating there was going to be a special event and we would need to pay which was fine. But when got there the hostess said they did not honor reservations and it was first come first serve and if our entire party wasn't there then we couldn't be seated. I was confused as to why we needed to make a reservation in the beginning. On a good note, our server was amazing, she did a great job and was very nice!!!

Food was delicious and the value was worth the $. Mom D. was great. We felt relaxed and not rush through our dinner. Mom D was helpful with menu and the cocktails were good too

Our family came in before the Theresa Caputo show that we attended across the street at The Palace. From the moment we came in the staff was so wonderful and made us feel so welcome. The hostess was so kind and when Mama D came to take care of us we were treated like family. She is lovely and made our experience so much fun. The diablo pasta was delicious! I know my family also enjoyed their Louisville burgers and the macaroni skillet among other things. We all loved it! We will definitely be back soon. Thank you for being a part of our great night!

I love this place. Stopped for dinner and my Son loved the tacos. The mac n cheese was great too. The people were so nice and our server was Mama - I forgot her name but she was so fast. The restrooms and whole place were so clean. I had no idea that it was literally a place paying homage to actual Black jockeys in the area. So cool! They had photos in the hall. Definitely stop in. I thought this statue was beautifully placed and I sat in these amazing velvet chairs that made me feel like a vampire. Which was cool.

I love locally owned restaurants and this place was fantastic. The staff, atmosphere and food were amazing. There was a cute photo op area where we got some super cute pictures in front of. Plus the location was perfect, right by the parking garage and directly across the street from the Palace Theater.

Love the staff, music, food and atmosphere. Great place to hang with friends & a great date spot.

Atmosphere top tier, everything else trash, the oje servers who was supposed to have our table ignored us for 15mins, we had no water. no menu. Finally althe host comes and ask has anyone helped us, knowing we have no menus or water. As i type this 30mins later i dont have a drink, this beyond insane with like 30 people max, vibe dope, damn shame

With the food & menu being lackluster, my main reason for being a repeat customer was for the entertainment! After seeing with my own eyes that black jockey does NOT pay their entertainment Band Musicians and Vocalist on time or at all…. I can say with confidence myself, family members colleagues & out of town friends will never be back. I hope the talented individuals take legal action for working and rehearsing for multiple shows without pay.

We arrived at 630 with rest At 715 I went to bar and ordered drinks Our order was taken at 7 but no ordered put in They were out of half men Totally awful experience

4 people. Ordered out food and drinks. Got 3 entrees, were told the 4th was a kitchen mixup. Was comped the 4th entree and told it wasn't going to come out. Not the servers fault, the manager and kitchen staff were terrible. Never again, no matter how close to our venue!
