Great tour, and great bourbon
Great atmosphere great bourbon
Great whiskey experience ?
Shannon makes THE BEST cocktails!!!!! On3 found a gem of a bartender!
For the price I thought it was awesome. Other places charge you near double and you only get 3 tastings. Here you get 4. I didn’t mind some of the automated and video part of the tour. Our tour guide was Bill, and he was funny and knowledgeable, but you can tell he has said what he is saying to us a million times. Poor guy. Either way, I learned a lot, and I don’t need more than 45 minutes tour. I really loved we got to drink the 12 yr red bottle. It was great.
Wasn't sure how we'd feel about the downtown bourbon tour experience but it was actually a great time! The tour is very well done.
Better than expected. Jacob was awesome
This place has a cool vibe, but I felt that the experience was a bit too automated compared to other distilleries. Our tour guide was fantastic, but it was clear that the setup was more computerized than personal. For those visiting for the first time or without a tour, I can imagine it would be a great experience.
However, after visiting some larger distilleries earlier in the day, we found ourselves overwhelmed by the size and scale of those places. We did enjoy our visit to Heaven Hill, the parent company, and had a great time there as well. Overall, we enjoyed our time at this distillery, but it lacked some of the personal touch we experienced elsewhere.
Nice tour Gide M/s May, produced one barrel per day.
We've been here twice and each time the tours get even better! Lou did an amazing job at the Speakeasy Tour. He stayed true to the time period and was a great educator of the time period. The bourbon were all great and the story fantastic! One of the best distillery tours on the trail!

I’ve taken one tour here and usually visit every time I’m in downtown Louisville. The tour is fantastic and the people are nice. The bourbon shops here are really beautiful, as they should be. Evan Williams, Michter’s, Bardstown, are all shops worth visiting in the area. In the Evan gift shop, there’s a very nice selection of their whiskeys. On my last trip, I picked up an Elijah Craig rye toasted barrel and a Square 6 wheated, which was made on the premises. I haven’t opened the Craig yet (I love the original toasted barrel), but the Square 6 was a disappointment. It’s harsh, tastes young, and has an overwhelming oaky flavor. At $89, do yourself a favor and buy one of their classic bourbons. There’s so much to choose from. I’d love to trade the Square 6 for a barrel proof Elijah Craig, or even a regular Evan Williams. At least I could enjoy it.
Nice place to experience bourbon. A nice lady helped in directions to a nice cigar place.
I went to your Thursday night festivities at your upstairs Kitchen area. It was very quant and a beautiful.time there. My complaint is you only offered premixed cocktails that were weak at best for $10. The only other choice was a straight shot. I asked for one. He gave me less than a full shot and charged me $12. Are you kidding me!!! I won't be back!
Really enjoyed the tour. Everyone was very nice. A great way to spend an hour and learn about local history and bourbon.
Cool spot with very friendly staff. They go above and beyond here. Nice giftshop as well. I would come back!
