Lady's and gents, I've done it. After all these years, I've finally done it. I've found the perfect breakfast burrito. The weight, portions, proportions, content, size, shape, price... It's all there.
I've travelled far and wide in my quest for a breakfast burrito that ascends the normal realm, into the realm of greatness. I do not want to insinuate that there is only one "perfect" breakfast burrito, but that those worthy and capable of crafting the perfect breakfast burrito are few and far between. Ev's is both worthy, and capable.
I've travelled to the southwest and beyond, trying to connect to the culture that birthed the wonderful creation we now know as the breakfast burrito. I indeed found many burritos that were of noble quality, but none had the right distribution of qualities for me to feel that my mission had been accomplished.
Little did I know I could have looked right in my own backyard.

FINALLY! Finally found the best breakfast, hands down, in all of Louisville! Ev's Deli has the most delicious breakfast burritos. Although, it's inside an office building, don't let that fool you. Go inside and try Ev's on the 1st floor. I promise your taste buds will thank you for it!!!!

Passing thru Louisville for work. Stumbled on EV’s when looking for coffee……the best breakfast burrito in town. The sauce was amazing and owner was awesome…..highly recommend
Tucked away in the back corner of the building this place is a jewel in the rough. The burrito ? was delicious but the service and friendly reception despite having a deep set of orders was a pleasant start to the day!

A must visit for a quick bite. We had breakfast burritos with bacon. The bacon was crispy, eggs fluffy and sauce was poppin. On point flavor with nice seating in the hotel. I paired this with an Ethiopian pour over at the coffee shop nearby.
