This is not a speakeasy! No air conditioning! Dark dingy bar ( within usually lie) with a eh atmosphere. Bartender was nice and friendly but this was pretty much the worst bar I’ve ever been to!

Every time I visit, it feels like I'm stepping into a new episode of Cheers, and Sisi is the ultimate bartender - she's everything you could want and need! Don't forget to ask about the Buzz Buttons. It's the house specialty.
There is no food, but plenty of options are within walking distance. Have fun!

Popped in there tonight and found Kohl and Morgan behind the bar and I knew immediately I was going to have a great experience. We tried 3 of their specialty cocktails and loved them all . Had a particularly good conversation about lime juice. A great bartender has so many wonderful little tricks. Good drinks/great time.

Don't get discouraged by the building. This place may not look like much, but it has the most extragavant, delicious, and unique cocktails ? I've ever tried. Kudos to Morgan, she made our visit even more rewarding.

We’re not local, and a waiter at Lou Lou’s on Market (I think his name was Nick) suggested we go to Expo and meet SiSi. He told us how to find it, and so we wandered over with mid-level expectations. Wow. First off, the posted drink menu is crazy. It’s wild, but intriguing. I had the Too Many Devils and my dad had the Nanu Nanu. We both liked our drinks. I didn’t know what I wanted at first, so I told SiSi what I didn't like and what I was allergic to, and she brought me an awesome Vieux Carre. I told her I wanted something sour, and she brought me a Charlie Chaplin. My dad said he wanted something with bourbon and lemon, and she brought him a Good Rush. At this point, we were so enthralled with her skill that we wanted to try and stump her. We asked for something with Maker’s that also has chocolate. She paused, and then started in. SiSi brought us the most amazing bourbon, chocolate, orange concoction. I think she said it was called a Left Hand? Absolutely amazing. You’ve got to come by if you’re in Louisville.

Great low key bar if you want to escape the crowds on whiskey row. The atmosphere screams dive bar but the cocktails are seriously awesome (and cheap). The bartender was great: very funny and personable. And damn good at her job.
