It took about 20 minutes to get my food and there was only one person in front of me. I explained I have a cheese allergy and they still continued to cook the food incorrectly and got upset when I reminded them that I had a food allergy. They have cross contamination issues and they do not change their gloves unless you request it even after they touched the money and the register. The Pita fell apart into dozens of pieces after they make it and I had to ask for a fresh one and then they get upset. They will start speaking another language and that is mildly offensive and made me uncomfortable but I had no choice to eat here as it is the only place in this mall with food and I was about to get a migraine. I took 2 bites and it was disgusting and I threw it away. One lady was very nice but the skinny lady was mean and she looks like she needs some sleep

I really don't see, how they can call this a pita place. Everything is served to you in a tortilla wrap. I tried the gyro pita, it has very little meat on it and it smells sour and tasted sour in flavor like that set ziki sauce had been sitting on the line uncooled. My wife tried the teriyaki chicken, it had very little meat in it. The guy took a pre-mixed, some pre-cut vegetables in with some meat and sauce and wrapped it up like a rap. Not a pita! If there was any way I could get the $17 and fifty seconds of my life it took me to realize my food was rancid there, back I would. My advice is there are real pita joints in the city of Louisville, that serve pita's, not wraps.

The Mediterranean Veggie pita was deliciously amazing and amazingly drip-free. I don't know if they remembered to add the mushrooms, but my tastebuds didn't care. The spinach and fruit smoothie tasted sweet, thick, tart and delectable. Needless to say, I'll be back!

I am an Executive Chef who just arrived to work in Louisville. I was tired and hungry but I wanted healthy and fresh food that I did not have to cook. Extreme Pita! BRAVO! Thank you

When I caught wind that Extreme Pita was moving into Oxmoor Mall, I was incredibly excited. For most of my early twenties, I worked a super part time gig at a store around the corridor from the restaurant in the mall. Associates had very little time for breaks and with the almost food desert status of Oxmoor, I anticipated Extreme Pita to be a godsend for mall workers. They really let me down. I have given this place plenty of chances over the years. I have never been able to find something I like. There is a large selection of very tasty sounding entrees- Grilled Chicken & Goat Cheese, Mediterranean Veggie, and Flatbread Pitas with all sorts of meat options. There is also a significant range of specialty smoothies & shakes to order. But the pitas just do not taste good. And I have no interest in paying $7 for a smoothie. The friendly staff keeps the facility very clean, but the food is just not for me, I guess.

Service was good, but the pita was poor quality. Very little meat and the pita itself just wasn't good. I wish I waited and went to Little Greek or Taziki's.

Extreme Pita is my #1 favorite Pita spot. Period. Located in side the Oxmoor Mall directly across from Old Navy, Extreme Pita is a great place to grab a quick meal that won't weigh you down. They have you classic pitas (my favorite is the ever-popular Gyro) with some non-standard additions like feta cheese to give it that extra *wow*. Their signature pitas are stand-outs all by themselves. The Chipotle Chicken is #Amazing, while the Grilled Chicken & Goat Cheese could easily become your favorite (like my wife). You can create your own pita with any of their ingredients, so Be Creative! The Extreme Entrees are perfect for a dinner (or someone REALLY hungry for lunch) and are served over rice and come with a side salad. I can personally vouch for the Salsa Verde Beef. The staff has always been friend (if a bit focused) and the place can get pretty busy during lunch hours. They still turn the food around pretty quickly, though, and the store remains pretty clean. There are about a half-dozen tables in the restaurant, and additional seating in the mall hallway right outside the door. The pricing is very reasonable and just about the same as any other pita place. Having been here a number of times, it's even worth the drive from J-Town when I get a hankerin' for pita!

Extreme Pita has a great selection of different pitas, flatbreads and salads. Everything is fresh and delicious! One of my favorite quick places to eat!

Combo pita pizza good and filling, pita crust pizza with your choice of protein, cheese and 3 add ons a drink and a bag of traditional chips or pita chips in sea salt cinnamon sugar and plain.

First time I ate here and it was delicious. Will definitely go again. I wish they would open more locations in the area.

I have been here twice and I can definitely see myself coming back! To begin with, the menu. There are so many options! You have vegetarian and meats and can choose between a flatbread or a traditional pita. I tried the Chicken Caesar Pita and it was delicious! Service is good and quick. You don't have to wait too long and there are about 6 tables inside the restaurant. My favorite part is that they have a "Pita of The Day" every day for $5 so you can eat healthy and on a budget. I definitely recommend this place!

A nice alternative to your typical "mall food." Had the chicken shawarma and added feta cheese because why not! I was told any of their pitas can be made per your liking. Am happy to see that they also have delivery options because I will definitely be using that in the future. Am excited to go back and try a few other things from their menu. The space was clean, bright and modern and the staff was very helpful in making a decision.

Enjoyed it, my only gripe was that the pita wasn't as fresh as I prefer...

I ordered the regular size Philly cheesesteak pita, and I will be eating a lot more or these in my lifetime. Definitely planning on coming back and trying more delicious items on the menu!
