4/21/24 went to 201 hurstbourne and was greeted rudely by Karen "hispanic" go figure. Told me it would be a 20 minute wait. But didn't let me know they have a community table that you can seat yourself. A family came in after me and she offered it too them!! I politely ask her why she didn't give me the option and the manager Scott intervene saying she didn't realize. Karen stood there with a rude smirk on her face looking defiant then rolling her neck ! Why do you think you better then anyone Karen . Baby humble your and treat people how you want to be treated. It's becoming a trend for them to be disrespectful. As a black women I would never treat people like this. Karen needs to learn to be polite

Water glasses and silverware were spotty and appeared to not be sanitary. Waffles came out cold to the touch. They were replaced with fresh ones which were great. Overall good food and service, but a little overpriced for quality of food and service in addition to the dirty dishes.

The food and service were amazing this morning. Our friends from out of town wanted to try it out. In the past I had never been impressed with it due to some service issues but today’s visit well surpassed my expectations. Bridget is on top of her game!! She was quick, highly attentive and delivered customer service like no other. Most importantly, she made some great recommendations and was courteous to me as she noticed the booth was a little tight so we moved it back some. I ordered the Belgium waffle which was perfectly crisp, served with butter and a berry compote on the side. I ordered a side of pork sausage and fried potatoes. Perfect pairings. I really enjoyed that they leave water in a jug at the table. That’s a good touch. My husband ordered the works omelet which included mushrooms, cheese, sausage, bacon, ham and of course (egg) with a side of buttered grits. I’m not a fan of grits at all but he described them as very delicious. We will be back and will ask specifically for Bridget!
