Flanagan’s has some competition nearby, but is the best Irish pub town. The food is always good. The servers are always friendly (ask for Lex and if she’s available, you’ll get the best service you’ve had in a while). And there’s usually something interesting going on somewhere in their sprawling establishment.

Not sure exactly what happened to one of my favorite spots ever but I wont be back until management decides to manage.Got a draft beer with no head, no fizz, somebody elses lipstick already on the glass. I tried to get the server to fix it but she was nonexistent. Walked up to bar to give them my beer back and got no service from the long haired beanie guy back there. Stayed long enough at the bar to play name guessing games with some guy hitting on me. He got served, I didnt get the bartenders attention at all. My food was out so I ditched my beer at the bar.Got back to the table to find my $19 fish and chips had 13 french fries with it. I counted them.Again, the server was nonexistent.Paid $50.51 in total to feed 2 people. Absolutely terrible quality control on all counts: service, bar service, food. Put me in a bad mood. Shouldve stayed home and kept my $50. Next time I wont even think twice about dining at Flanagans.

Wow what a disappointing place wait staff doesn’t even acknowledge you, go to the bar and attempt to get noticed to get your own drinks and food. My advice keep on searching for something

I got the fish and chips for lunch. The fish was very good and even the cole slaw was very good, although the fries were pretty gross, barely warm crinkle fries that tasted like bad oil. Felt kinda wronged since with tip my lunch for one with a coke was $27.00.

Irish pub in name and decor only. Food was not what we ordered, service was terrible, and tables were left messy for a very long time. When it came time to check out, the waitress asked what we ordered. No organization at all. Should have stayed at O'Shea'

I have not been here for 20 years. Why DID I wait so long to return. This is the best highlands pub. I happened to meet the owner since I sat in his Father & Son booth. (I dont hold it against him that he is a Shamrock grad. ) A great guy & it shows through all his staff who were friendly & helpful at first encounter. Great happy hour. I will be back to try the " specials".

Not awesome, not terrible. Service was hit and miss. Multiple messages ups regarding sauces and bread choice. The fish and chips was overcooked and flavorless and the fries were overcooked and dry as cracker juice. The onion rings might have been the best I've ever had ANYWHERE though and I've travelled the USA through and through multiple times. All in all it was disappointing and underwhelming but I still might go back for the atmosphere and the onion rings and maybe tor give the menu one more try. We'll see.

The food was amazing, the staff were great. I got the fried chicken biscuits sandwich with grits and tried the bbq wings. The fried chicken was fried to perfection and the taste was superb, with a bit of a spice to it. The wings are phenomenal.

Although this is just a neighborhood Tavern this place has some killer bar food. This is one of the best beer battered fish I have eaten. The fish was thick and crisp but not greasy. The batter was not overwhelming. The onion rings were battered and crispy. The coleslaw was creamy and crunchy with the perfect balance of dressing. It was fresh.I saw a video on Goodall’s Country Kitchen. He does a great service to the community if you can get passed the worst table manners I have ever seen. His manners can be distracting, and he is not really a foodie, but it is helpful to the community as a whole.I would highly recommend Flanagan Tavern and the promotions from Goodall’s( just close your eyes when he is eating) ?
