They closed for dinner service, permanently, and didn't let patrons with reservations on Open Table know. We showed up for our 6:00 reservation made over a week ago and found a closed property with a sign on the door.
Great experience for our first visit to Fork and Barell. Try the cornbread, Brussel sprout salad and short rub

Great experience with food, drinks, and service. Pear and Prosecco was fun. Brussel salad delicious. Sea bass was delicious, but I would have liked the orzo better if it were served hot. Service was great
The food was excellent, but the restaurant was so hot it made the overall experience poor. Would have appreciated someone on the staff acknowledging how hot it was.
The owner was very active and engaged with tables, and clearly was very proud of their restaurant. And they have good reason to be, the service was solid, but the food was incredible. There was a perfect balance of flavors in nearly every bite, and I had the best pork chop experience of my life. WILL be back as soon as I can.
We went to a special Bourbon and Bacon dinner at Fork & Barrel. We had only recently discovered this place and were extremely pleased with the B&B experience. It was a 4 course meal with Jefferson's Reserve bourbon pairings with each course. Food was over the top great as was the bourbon. Kudos to proprietor/chef Geoff and his wife Emily. Great job as well by Jen the brand ambassador for Jefferson's. It was a perfect evening of food and drink plus we got the recipe for Geoff's killer cornbread!
Our meal was delicious and the owner/chef came and spoke to us a couple times. He was very friendly and loved to hear the backstory of the restaurant!
We had a lovely and delightful time, great food and service. I would absolutely dine here again.
Everything about this restaurant was amazing. The customers service that we received from Stephanie was awesome. The food was delicious, and they had a great amount to offer. We highly recommend the pork belly and cornbread as an appetizer. The restaurant is a short Uber ride from NULU and the downtown area. A must try if you are in Louisville.
We had a wonderful meal at Fork and Barrel. From the deviled eggs and cornbread appetizer (a must try!) to the brownie dessert everyone enjoyed every bite. The shrimp and grits are amazing! Great spot! The service was excellent.

The owner was more than accommodating for my dietary needs. The service was wonderful, the atmosphere was great, and the food was delish!!!
We have dined at the Morning Fork several times and food and service was excellent. So my husband chose the evening version at this location, Fork & Barrel for his birthday. We ordered Mai Tais off the theme night menu plus an appetizer. 10 minutes later apps appeared, no drinks. Couldn't get waitstaff attention. 20 minutes in we had to get up and go to the bar to ask about them. Bartender was on her phone -began to work on it. Great food. Tab was $173 but service was not at that level We'll stick with Morning Fotk
Delicious! Must try dishes: deviled eggs—creative and beautiful! Brussel sprouts salad—amazing.
I thought the salmon was too salty, so they took it back and brought the sea bass, and it was Amazing!
