I cannot say enough wonderful things about this restaurant!!! Our party consisted of 26 people, ages 6 to 85 - arrangements were made well in advance of us showing up at the door. The server was extremely helpful undeciding which type of drink to get. The egg drop drink was delicious and the Tito's and tonic were amazing- heavy on the Tito's which was good!!The appetizers - a charcuterie type appetizer, brisket and queso, devilish eggs, and another one I forget , were out of this world. The fish and chips were delicious, according to the 85-year-old. The beat salad with salmon was extremely tasty, unique, and filling. The smashburger was huge and very tasty. The kids menu seem to have everything on it the kids would want. Let's not forget the service. The servers were perfect. Very attentive but not intrusive. Informative but not overbearing. Our night. Could not have been any better; Thank you Fork and Barrel for helping to make this party memorable ❤️PS. I haven't been here since it was Northside Cafe; but, I will be back.

First time here and was pleasantly surprised! Drinks, fritters, short ribs and burger were all delicious but the bread pudding dessert was amazing! We will definitely be making this a regular place to visit. Service was also really good.

I had the Ancient Grains Bowl, the charcuterie board, and créme brulé. It was all absolutely delicious, but that cremé brulé was excellent.Parking: Pretty good parking availability to be on Frankfort Ave.

First, I love that Morning Fork and Fork and Barrel share the same space. Excellent use of valuable property, and both restaurants deliver on quality. Our wedge salad was fresh, sweet and savoy combo with just the right amount of dressing. We opted for salmon. It was grilled perfectly, a degree of crispness on the surface but perfectly moist inside. Served over quinoa with carrots on the side, not usually my favorite veggie, but they were seasoned, al dente, and bursting with flavor. Our server, Cindy, was delightful, efficient, and available. .

It was ok. We went for a late Valentine meal the weekend after. Food was bland and overpriced. I anticipated more flavor. I had a wedge salad that was a wedge of lettuce with a minute drizzle of dressing. The pictures online didn't match what we were served. We probably won't return. I would probably say if you drink alcohol or only have a cocktail, appetizer or dessert it would be an ok experience but the entrees were just not flavorful enough for our taste. Also if you don't drink alcohol you only have water as an option as a drink.

I generally don’t leave reviews on restaurants, but this was a very disappointing experience for me and my company.I ordered the 1/2 chicken which cost $39 dollars and would have rather eaten a rotisserie chicken from Kroger. Anything hot honey sauce touched over-powered the flavor of the chicken skin to the point I couldn’t taste it, and the chicken meat itself just tasted like regular somewhat dry chicken. The crispy potatoes tasted like a brick of paprika and nothing else.My company ordered the shrimp and grits, and was given what was essentially just grits soup with a few pieces of unseasoned shrimp. The sausage that served along side it was the only thing that was decent. Also, there were entire garlic cloves left in the grits. Normally these cloves are not noticeable and fall apart when bitten into, however, these were undercooked and solid cloves. The White Cosmo tasted like a half gallon of simple syrup with a hint of cranberry and the general idea of vodka somewhere in the drink. The Apple of my Rye was a good drink. It had a full bodied flavor, and the cinnamon and apple paired very well with the bourbon.I will say the service was fantastic and we did not wait for anything.

My wife had a steak and I had salmon as our entrees, and both were perfectly prepared. She had a garden salad and liked the dressing a lot, and I had the tomato basil soup. If you order it, get the bowl because it is too good to eat just a cup. For dessert we went with cheesecake and a brownie and the servings were generous, and the desserts were wonderful. The service team led by our waitress Sarah, was timely and friendly in their work. Prices are very reasonable considering the quality of service and the fantastic food. Also, Geoffrey, the chef/owner, introduced himself and seems like a real nice guy.

I absolutely love their wedge salad! The brisket nachos were good, the cheese was a little soupy, could have been thicker. My man had the roasted chicken with potatoes and kale. He normally doesn't like kale but said it wasn't bad. It had good flavor. The prices are a little high for what you get in my opinion but the place is cozy and not too loud.

A perfect dinner to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary! The pork chops were the best ever. Service was fantastic (Kat took good care of us). Plus, it was so sweet of the staff to sign an anniversary card to us. A very nice evening.

We celebrated my girlfriend's birthday with this first trip to this restaurant. Despite a note in making the reservation and stating such to our server at greetings, no gesture followed from the establishment. We thought our server engaging, positive, prompt. Our fritters and shared beet salad were flavorful and somewhat light, allowing us to enjoy our entrees—she had pork chop (tender and delicious); I had salmon (slightly dry/overcooked)—and sides (spinach, potatoes, corn pudding), all satisfactory. The desserts topped off our pleasurable dinner: vanilla bean crème brûlée that ranks among best in town and delicious cheesecake with shortbread crust and blackberries! Web will be back, but the pricing is a bit pretentious for the venue and menu.

Delicious! We had some gift cards and took full advantage! The deviled eggs were amazing AND THE pork belly was a great pairing. Followed by a burger and a huge Ribeye cooked to perfection. Finished our date night with the bread pudding with vanilla ice cream! HAPPY EARLY VALENTINE'S DAY!
