Amazing food. Yet to order anything here that isn't fantastic. Friendly service, cool atmosphere and a very unique menu.
The steak and chicken are the best. The fries are so good. My entire family loved it. Will be back for sure
It's a toss up between 1 and 1/2 and 2 stars.I've tried Fry Daddys approximately 4 times now. 2 out of 2 times was 5 stars, and 2 out of 2 zero. They are really hit or miss, and I'm not sure if it depends on the staff, management, owners?Unfortunately for the prices they charge, this will be my last time trying to get a decent high quality meal from the establishment. When they do good, the food is hot, the frys are crispy, and the toppings are generous. When they are having an "off" day... the frys are squishy soft soggy, the toppings are not even 1/2 of what they normally are, and the order is wrong.3 out of 4 times, the order was INCORRECT, although, 2 of those times the food was still good, although not what I had ordered. For the last couple of weeks they have been out of side cups. Which is odd because they could run to any supplier and grab some, especially being less than 2 miles away from a GFS store.Today, the order was missing steak. I had ordered through grubhub. Though I was charged for steak, it was not on the order. When I called I was told the steak was out, that the order was adjusted (it has not been). No one thought to call and let me know that they were out of steak so that I could change my order or cancel. When the order arrived the frys were so soggy and squishy, it was gross. They were undercooked. There is usually enough sauce to coat the bottom of the container, however today, the frys were dry.We also tried a couple order of tenders and were not impressed. The chicken was so dry, it hurt my teeth to chew.I've had enough with Fry Daddys and giving their over priced "gourmet" frys another change. See for yourself, and find yourself out of $40+ bucks for very subpar food.
Definitely not worth the money!!!! Fries were not properly drained of grease and shrimp was way over cooked it was like eating rubber... my husband said he would rate a 2 star cause their chicken was ok and he is pretty sure they use Buffalo wild wings Caribbean j*** sauce.
This place has a local area feel to it. Very southend. The menu doesnt have much to offer besides the fries. I figured there would have been some kind of dessert fry. Which would be a great eat. As far as the food that they do have to offer it is absolutely delicious! I'll give it a 9/10 great eat! So yes I would recommend this to my friends and family. Although it's a little high priced considering the neighborhood, you get a big portion.
This place is amazing!!! I got the bacon, ranch, cheddar fries and the toppings were heaped on thick! My husband got some with chicken and red sauce of some kind and it was again heaped on they dont play when it comes to the toppings. If I could give 10 stars I would!!! I also want to add we could only eat half of our servings had to save the rest for later. Well worth the money.
Fast, friendly, and absolutely delicious! It's a bit expensive, but they give you a large portion and it's worth every dollar. Give them a try the next time you're looking to treat yourself!
Customer service was lacking and the food was just okay. My daughter didnt want the ranch sauce added directly to her fries but was told she had to because of their “policy”. Unclear why they just couldn’t simply put the sauce on the side, but hey rules are rules. Asinine policy if you ask me. First and last time eating there. Solid 2 stars.
I’ll let the picture speak for itself. Okay ??????
Delicious! Stopped in for lunch, the portion was so big I had enough for dinner. Very friendly cashier..

Steak and Chicken loaded fries were delicious, worth every dollar.
The food was good, people were nice, and the music wasn’t to loud.
The staff was friendly. The food was good and hot. I think mine could have used some extra sauce but that's my preference. As is it was delicious. Well seasoned fries, a little salty for my taste but good. I got the Buffalo Chicken Bacon Ranch. Not spicy though. But still good.
When I walked in, I looked at the menu on the wall and was a little surprised. The prices seemed higher than what I had expected but seeing the choices in protein, I gave it a chance. Let me tell you, I got the shrimp and steak with lemon butter and it was AMAZING. There is so much food and the fries were crispy, even after being smothered in so many toppings. The fried shrimp was great and I received plenty of it. Lots of streak, too. Overall if I *had* to find something to gripe about, it would be that the meal was very heavy. So keep that in mind, but do remember this restaurant has “fry” in the name. Not exactly a place you would ever go if you’re on a diet and plan to keep it. I will warn that they do not take tips on credit/debit cards so if you are planning on tipping (and I think you certainly should), bring some cash! This was a delicious experience.
Ordered the crab and shrimp fry and added lobster. It was all imitation meat and 4 tiny fried shrimp and my lobster meat was forgotten so it came after (it wasn't lobster it was a different kind of fake crab) with no sauce. For 30 dollars I will not be back for that. The fries themselves were good, maybe try something more basic if theres a next time. I was soooo excited about this place
