They make their craft cocktail syrups in house & the quality surpasses my expectations every time! Their food never disappoints & you can tell that their staff cares and we always have an amazing time when we visit here.

This review is based on the interactions of someone claiming to be a staff member in the street. We did not eat at or enter the business as it was closed.
While standing outside another business in the same block as Galaxie, a man approached us and started making small talk. We kept the conversation high-level and generic, until he said he was the owner of Galaxie (it was not Thor) and invited us into the closed business. We politely declined, but he continued to pressure us.
He then entered the business to try to pressure our friend, despite our ongoing objections, to leave so we would join him at Galaxie.
While in the business he stuck his hand in my face and said I’m married, before continuing that his wife would think what he was doing was weird and accusing me of flirting with him. He then approached other customers in the store and asked one of the children her age before a staff member had to intervene and sent him outside.
We find it important for Galaxie to understand how this man is representing the business and the community to know how he is interacting with women and children.

The tacos were delicious but the fries were exceptional. The place is small but the vibes are big. The surprise is that they have a separate area in the back where they have DJs and other musicians perform. I was surprised to see free water in both the bar area AND the music venue. Tickets for shows have been super affordable. They don't have a designated parking lot and since it's Nulu area, you may need to factor in time for parking.

Great local spot for a quick mezcal cocktail or late night EDM show. If you're going just to have a drink or bite to eat, the front bar and patio are not the biggest but there are decent drinks and surprisingly good food. I'd recommend the steak wakatakas or loaded nachos but you really can't go wrong. Galaxie mostly shines on show night where you can head to the back.
There is a central lounge room to be more low key, but the shows in "Outer Space" are where EDM fans tend to gather. Worth a stop by to check it out.

We had such a blast here. Visiting from out of town and really enjoyed the back room "Outerspace" area. Got in for 10 bucks and you could get a Tecate for $4. Like...ok. AWESOME. The DJ's were solid, but our favorite part was the lounge area by the bar. Super chill, easy to talk and hang out with our group and still vibe to the beats. Would love to go back! Didn't eat any food.

Spe'cial and Taylor were great! It was my first time in Kentucky and Louisville. The karaoke bar across the street suggested this restaurant. It was quaint and fun! I ordered the avocado chicken salad. Yummy!
They're open on Sundays now if you're looking for something good to eat in a good area!
