Gallant Fox Brewing Company

As an Arsenal fan visiting from the UK I had to find our where to watch the match locally. I was very pleased to find Gallant Fox. Nice bar located in a pleasant part of town with a great selection of beers and welcoming staff.

This spot was the perfect break after a long, hot hike. Michael welcomed us warmly—and even had a treat for our dog. He helped us pick the perfect drinks—a fruited blonde and an American lager—and the pretzel with cheese dip hit the spot. Tucked away in a charming part of town, it’s an ideal place to relax. Thanks, Michael, for the great hospitality!

Outside picnic tables. Inside it’s open and inviting. If you like pictures of foxes in various regalia, it’s a place for you to come and view. If you also like beer, they have that too.

I tried a few of the beers at Gallant Fox and found it quite nice. The bartender was friendly and they had good music playing. Both the sour and the IPA I tried were well-made and refreshing. The bar seemed well stocked and the patio looked relaxing. Overall it seemed like a nice community brewery, and I wouldn’t hesitate to go back.

One of our favorite places! The beers are unique and delicious and they have something for me and my husband (very different tastes lol) we drive all the way from Corydon to come here. The decor is so cute and the atmosphere is amazing and we've always have fantastic bartenders.

Tasty beer and a really great atmosphere to hang out and enjoy the company of friends... Catch a game or play a game while having a tongue pleasing brew!

We love the Fox. The beers are amazing! Morgan & Hook behind the bar are fantastic! Can’t speak higher of this place.

I loved the Foxtoberfest beer but the bartender was sick. She definitely did not want to be there coughing and sniffling while serving/preparing drinks and food. I don't see myself returning, bummer.

Excellent atmosphere and the beer is even better. Highly recommend For Fox Shake, it's an orange creamsicle IPA. So smooth, surprisingly not happy. 10/10 all around.

Excellent Beer, Atmosphere and customer service!

The beers were good, and the space was nice. I wish there were a list of the whiskeys with pricing to mull over, and more canned beers to take away. We have a bottle share group and we're always looking for something new to take but a growler wouldn't survive. When we walked in the vibe was cool and the music was set to a nice nostalgic 90's station. If we were local I'm sure it would be part of our regular visitation, but we only had two nights and decided not to return.
Unfortunately the significant other of one of the bartenders arrived, already showing signs of impairment. He was also ill and began coughing all over the bar. When left alone he helped himself to the tablet behind the bar and turned the music to a strange techno thing. He had multiple drinks and shots of whiskey that he really didn't need to consume and most likely if he were a patron would have long been cut off already. Not sure if he even had an open tab but while there a young lady returned to complain that she had been charged for extra things that she didn't order or receive. The bartender did make it right but the charges were enough to give the woman a free filled growler and it made us wonder if the sick boyfriend put some of his charges on a different tab while he had the tablet. We made sure to double check before closing that our charges were appropriate. The other bartender looked annoyed like this is a somewhat regular visitation, which is why we went elsewhere the next night.
