First time there. It was amazing! The staff was great. The drinks were great. The food was great! Aramis and Michael (maybe Micah?) were awesome! They were our bartenders at the downstairs "speakeasy" bar, and we LOVED the experience!
This review is long overdue, but If you're looking for a memorable night out in Louisville, you have to check out Gertie's Whiskey Bar! We went out for an adult night with my sister and two friends, and from the moment we walked in, we were completely taken by the incredible vibe upstairs. But the real magic lies in the 'secret' speakeasy downstairs, where we were treated to live jazz and an unforgettable bar scene.

Gertie’s was an amazing birthday experience. The ambiance was exactly what it needed to be. The drinks were crafted greatly, and the bartenders were the best. This was one of the best bars I’ve ever been to, would come back.
