We went to Glow Worm Highlands for the first time today and had a fantastic experience! I have a 3-year-old daughter and a 1-year-old son, and my MIL gave us a gift card for Christmas. The bakery/cafe/retail area when you first walk in is delightful — I ordered a chai latte and my daughter got some chocolate chip mini muffins, which they bring to you in the play area. The play area was very thoughtfully designed and so clean! I sat at a table and worked on an upcoming presentation while both children played. I especially appreciated the “2 and under” space being sectioned off from the main play area. The staff was friendly and helpful. Highly recommend! I hope to make this a regular part of our outings rotation.

I have a 6 year old and 3 year old twins and we’ve had a family membership since the very start! Glow Worm is part of our weekly routine and definitely one of my happy places. My kids can play and I can read and drink my coffee in peace! All of the new toys have been AMAZING and even my 6 year old can stay engaged for the entire play time. Definitely recommend a visit! (And a piece of cheesecake)

Cute place. Clean. Friendly staff. Wish they offered longer play times...but it's their business...their rules ?

I enjoyed myself, until the end. I was 1:30 into my 2 hour session and I was told it was time to overall get ready to leave bc the next session was at 3 and they had to clean. I paid for two hours… I wish they could have told me nicer instead of interrupting play time with their sanitation with no warning or communication of any kind so early ( the person with the nose piercing) the other ladies were nice and apologetic. They noticed it was kind of rude and said I could stay bc the next session only had one child.

My twins always love coming to glow worm. It's clean, friendly and a great time for me and my family. I can't say enough good about them. We even had a wreck after leaving one day. Horrifying as a parent luckily only I was hurt and they took my kids to play watched over them. They went above and beyond to help us in our time of need while EMS came and took me away. Come support a great local business and keep them around ❤️they really care and they show it.

Wow, this is such an amazing idea!!! I visited a month ago and I still think about this concept OFTEN.We stopped in for coffee, and if I'm being honest, the coffee was the only disappointing thing about this place and the only reason for taking a star. I'm not sure if the barista was new or what but all of our drinks were subpar. That being said, the combination coffee/sweep shop/play a pace/party venue is so amazing and I'm surprised these types of spots aren't all over! We could definitely use some in Indy! They had little racks of the softest baby clothes ever and a cute little corner for kids to go when they're feeling overwhelmed with emotion. Overall, so glad we went because I legit want to open one now!

We went today & they have appointment times you have to schedule to play, and they are closed for play 30 minute in between these times. Unless your child is on a schedule or you live near by it isn’t worth the drive. They told us we could have him play in 45 minutes if he could wait. I’ve been to other indoor playgrounds in other cities and never had to schedule a time in advance, we could just walk in and pay for the 1-2 hours.

My Local Santa

We have worked with Glow Worm the past two years to offer families the opportunity to take photos with Santa. Both Katie, her staff and EC Carver Photography are always a pleasure to work with. We enjoy the business model they bring to the community. The #1 thing that I love about working with Katie (business owner) and Elizabeth (photographer) is they allow me to be Santa, however long that takes. If a little child during a Santa session needs extra time, guidance, or patient, everyone allows me to be Santa and work my magic. Every visit that I have is the most important one of the day. And they make that happen.

My 21 month old loves this place - really fun - and they offer great breakfast and lunch items. Their paninis are so good! Highly recommend this spot when looking for something to do with young ones. It’s also so wonderful that they have the porch for nicer days.

We have been here multiple times since this has opened. The staff is always nice, the desserts are yummy (pumpkin crumb cake specifically), and the drinks are good. I love being able to be in a coffee shop while my kids can play. However, there is just not a lot for kids to do. We were one of the first ones in today and the shelves are bare, the play restaurant is empty, and the train table has very little to go on it. I have a three year old and I really thing she has outgrown this (it’s meant for five and under). There is soooo much potential here. There could be more sensory things, doll houses, a better play kitchen, more food, and things to build. My friends have all lost interest in going because it’s just not appealing anymore. I know toys get lost and things probably get taken but it has been like this for awhile. And I’m not here to hate on a local business. I want it to thrive and I want to support local but I think it needs a revamp in the toy department.

Absolutely loved it! Had heard about it and finally went to go check it out and it did not disappoint! My 2 year old enjoyed her self and got to play with other littles and socialize & I got to sit back relax and watch, I loved the fact that they have bakery style snacks and coffee/ drinks after our play time was over me and my toddler enjoyed a confetti muffin and a warm sugar cookie, will for sure be back and I definitely see the value in getting a membership and making this a part of our weekly outings! In a world where taking your child to the park can be somewhat dangerous a place like this gives you piece of mind!
