Went at 4pm and they had tons of empty tables. We were a party of 2! There was a Mardi Gras parade the next block. We were told 15 minute wait. Meanwhile two HUGE parties came in and were immediately sat (guaranteed tips) while we sat over 30 minutes. Finally left and went somewhere else and the hostess was completely clueless. Was our first time trying and won’t ever try again! Absolutely zero customer service.
Nothing against the server. She was nice, and she was doing her best for what she had to work with. The food took over an hour to come out. Very poor. Probably won’t come back.
Update. Food finally came…. Sucked, and we didn’t even get what we ordered.

First time in Louisville for a conference. My husband and I thought this would be a nice place to have dinner since it's a short walk from the Hyatt, where we were staying. I ordered the pecan crusted chicken salad and my husband ordered the fish and chips. I asked to have the gorgonzola on the side and my husband asked for ketchup. It took a very long time for our food to come out and when it did, we were extremely disappointed. The batter on the fish was soggy, like it had sat out for awhile before they brought it out. My salad had sliced pears that were brown and mushy, not even cored. The server forgot the condiments we asked for on the side, too. There seems to be no quality control. Our server spent more time tending to a larger table while our table and the elderly couple next to us were an after thought. I would not recommend this place.

We visit Louisville every year for a conference. Since this is walking distance from the hotel we have eaten here probably 10 times. We have noticed over he last 3 years the service and food had declined. I regret that this will be our last time eating here. Our server Kari was so very nice and knowing she was new we gave her a lot of grace. She did a fine job but did miss several things. That's OK. She's learning! It was the quality of food and the extraordinarily long time waiting that was bothersome. The restaurant was only maybe 10% full on a Thursday night. It took 1.5hr to get dinner. My ribeye was supposed to be medium but was dark red raw. I could only eat 1/2. It was very thin and cheap. The burgers are much smaller than before. Remember we've been coming here for 5 years. The menu is also 1/2 if what it used to be. I can see why there were no customers. I hate leaving negative reviews but this can't go un-checked. Maybe it's new management trying to keep afloat but it's not working. This is a Tier 1 convention city and visitors expect more. Hope they can change because we like the atmosphere and location.

Went on a Sunday and the restaurant was empty. Our waitress was very sweet but the kitchen is the reason why I will never go back! Our drinks were watered down so much after ordering 2 different times we just said forget it. Some of our parties food looked good but had no taste at all and the other half of our party food was burnt and too salty. This experience showed us why this place was empty even with all the activities going on downtown. (Worldfest)

We were a party of 18 to big for one person service. I ordered a sweet tea with lemon and got an unsweetened tea with lemon. My daughter ordered a drink we had to keep asking for her drink. By the third time, the waitress was getting upset. When are food started to come out. Everyone has received their order but my daughter. We were done eating and my daughter still didn't receive her meal so she asked for the manager. Not once did he come over and apologize until we asked for him. Some of the food was overcooked. My two young grandsons could have done better than those in the kitchen. This was my first time being at this place, and it would be my last.

Good food, friendly service. Our party of 10 had a few hiccups but we were generously comped. Overall I recommend giving this place a try and do plan on returning!
The appetizer Brussel sprouts were delicious!
Try the Strawberry soda!

This used to be my go-to place when I stayed in the DT area. It has really slipped on both quality and service. Ordered the fish & chips. Fish pieces were soggy and limp. Fries just tasted old. I also enjoyed their hefeweizen beer. Even it tasted flat. I sat at the bar with about 3 - 4 other people so it was not crowded. Neither was the dining room. The bartender never once came over to ask how the meal was. The only time he did come was to take my plate, which still had half my fries on it. He didn't ask if I was finished (which, for the record, I was). He just took my plate. Overall, just very disappointed. Not sure I will go back. Too many other options.

Food is trash. How can you mess up a Caesar salad in the heart of Downtown Louisville??? Chicken & Croutons were flavorless. Garlicky fries... greasy and did not have parmesan as described.

Got here at 9:06, it's a big weekend in Louisville with bourbon and beyond festival. They close at 11. Place is half closed off (understaffed). We get told in that way you know they hope you'll leave that it'll be 30 minutes..would you like to get in the waiting list. Well we're hungry so sure. 12 minutes later (miracle) we get the text and, just as we're about to be seated here comes manager guy stating the full menu is 86'd and only happy hour menu is available (wtf?) so ....we left :( (still hungry)

I stop in for a beer and dinner like I always do when in town. I told the hostess one for dinner. She looks around write on her pad getting ready to seat me. Then says it will be 20 minutes the kitchen is backed up. Let me take your name and number. I give it to her, then she says you can sit at bar if you like. How can it not be to busy to sit at bar and not a table. Then right behind me 4 guys wanted a table outside and she seats them right away. I left and will never return when I am in town. A former waiter, bartender and now a business owner. They don’t deserve my business!
Server was very attentive, small crowd when 9 of us arrived. We were seated immediately but it took close to an hour for our food to come out so make sure you're prepared for smalltalk and order an appetizer.
