We were coming back from Elizabethtown and tried a couple of places, but they were closed or too full. Gorilla Bob's was meant to be! The food was absolutely delicious, reasonably priced, and large portions. The staff was friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back!
This is one of my favorite spots in Kentucky. The Philly cheese steak and meatball sandwiches are enough for now and plenty for later. The owner treats every customer who comes through the door like old friends. My favorite feature of the restaurant is the QR code map hidden in the back corner and a close second is the map with thumbtacks letting others know how far people have traveled.
Oh, ma gawsh! We are visiting family in Louisville for a few weeks from Japan and we finally got in to this cute little restaurant to try it. I’m sad we waited so long because I definitely would’ve been in here several times! We got the buffalo chicken fries and the Philly cheesesteak and the chef did me a solid which I can’t name 😂, we were not disappointed! The flavors came together beautiful on those magical fries! The fries had a good crispy to soft in the center...
