Great Flood Middletown

I went to this restaurant due to the good reviews and I was disappointed. There were 3 kids running through the restaurant for approximately 15 minutes bartender finally said something. I ordered the pretzel and beer cheese as an appetizer and did not receive them before my main course so I cancelled them. I ordered shrimp tacos and they were nothing of what I was expecting, they weren't good and I'm sure there's plenty good good items on the menu. I'm simply basing this on my current visit and order. I will say their fries are really good and the waiter was good.

Food was good but place felt dirty...table was sticky..bathroom was rough, my flip-flop fell off and when my foot hit the floor it was so sticky and nasty...yikes! Pieces broken on the steps leading up from entrance...just disappointing...

We are semi-regulars of Great Flood Middletown. The wings are always great. My favorite sandwich is the black bean burger. Has a spicy sauce. Oh - the french fries sure are good. We never pass up on the brussel sprouts. Always get those. Cooked till crispy on the outside with a good sauce. Also enjoy sampling new beers. Plenty of variety on tap. Friendly service.

Tonight 11 of the HOA Residents of Swan Pointe went to Great Flood Brewing in Middletown. There were about four that had never been there before. The menu consists of Appetizers, NY Style Pizza, Fish/Shrimp Tacos, Salads, Baked Italian Sub, Club Sandwich, and Desserts. They also offer Beer, Wine, Margaritas and Cocktails. We had a real variety of entrees chosen tonight. My husband and I had Hot Browns, some of the other choices were a Club sandwich, Brussel Sprouts, Fish Tacos, Chicken Tenders, A Cheeseburger, and Beer Cheese and Pretzel Bread. It was easy to talk to our friends and our server Isabella was so sweet and worked very hard to take care of all of us. She even said she would love to wait on us again. She kept our glasses filled and reorders of another drink. Our food came out good and hot and the portions were large. Isabella had no trouble getting the tickets out to the correct person. After we were finished paying, we enjoyed listening to the Musical Trivia. Oh, on Monday nights they have Karaoke!

Parking: There was about 5 handicapped parking spaces. There was also plenty of parking in the Shopping Center.

This place has horrible service and food. The owner sits at the bar drunk when he should really be helping his workers. If you want a good dinner with a good atmosphere do not go here. Definitely way over priced as well.

I think I just had the best burger, of my life. The deviled eggs were super, but that burger. It was thick. The sauce was incredible. Great ambiance. The atmosphere is great. The beer was crazy good. I think I just found my new Sunday Funday place.I have been sleeping on this place. And now- I'm like, why did I slumber for so long?!?!?!So good. I for sure, will be back. I wanna try the fish tacos next.

The cocktail that contains cucumber vodka and pineapple juice is great. Good apps and burgers too and their outdoor seating is nice

Food was great. We ordered lots of apps and pizza. Pizza slice surprisingly good; looks like flat bread but shocked with great garlic flavor. Would totally go back for food. Beer was just ok.

Kid-friendliness: Welcomed my 8 year old and saw other kiddos enjoying themselves

Ordered a house burger for takeout cooked medium with cheese, grilled onions and the house made aioli. Got it home - it had cheese, a few onions, no aioli and was well done. Fries weren't good either. Disappointed.

The restaurant was very plain and was lacking of ambiance. I know the theme was great flood but you wouldn't really know what they were trying to imply from sitting in the dining area, other than two smallish pictures on the wall. The utensils came out either dirty or not dried properly, covered in some sort of soap film, or dirty.We ordered the macaroni bites, fish tacos, and bbq bacon burger. The Macroni bites looked really nice when they came out and were on the large side(which was great) and came with marinara sauce in a bowl. They tasted almost like nothing. We ended up drowning them with salt and pepper and submerging them in the marinara.The fish tacos,which were cod, had no taste and were buried under purple cabbage and thousand island dressing.The BBQ bacon burger was cooked the way it had been ordered, but again no flavor, no spice, just plain Jane burger, nothing special.Overall our server Andre was really nice, but seemed stretched too far, due to the infrequency of which we saw him. The times that we did see him he made sure to take care of our needsUpdate two years laterAwesome improvements! Live music, things taste seasoned and came out piping hot. Much better experience.
