Wow wow wow .. that's all I have to say.. I haven't found a a restaurant that has ambience, food and service all bundled up together to make the experience AMAZING, And that says a lot because I am a big foodie. Would def go back if I was ever in Louisville

I am giving it three stars because I've been there before and had a better experience. However I went with some friends last week, and I got the chicken mole, which I've had before and loved. The chicken was cooked weirdly and had an awful consistency. I tried to stomach it until I just couldn't. My boyfriend said he'd eat it, and then he had one bite and couldn't eat anymore. Afterwards my stomach hurt. My friends liked their meals, and the atmosphere there is lovely, it was just super disappointing to have an inedible dish when you pay so much for it!! :(

Whitaker: They seated us near the kitchen, which we liked. Got corn- delicious! Got ice cream and it was also delicious! Great place to go. Malissia: We celebrated my mom's birthday here with our family, a group of 12. We had a lovely time! Everything we tasted was delicious and it is an amazing atmosphere to celebrate an occasion. Some comments from the rest of our party: "The staff was friendly, patient, and very attentive. The food is incredible and it is a very festive atmosphere." "Loved the environment! Service was exceptional with our large group. The food was as excellent, if not even better, than the previous location!" "Great! Large portions, good service." The grownup service was not rushed, and the kids meals came out first. This is normally appreciated by kids but Whitaker would like it known by Yelp!
Visiting our daughter here and tried it. Very good food and not your traditional mexican. I had brisket tacos- excellent. Our server was good and knowledgeable. The has a mariachi band walking around and playing. Good time

Everything was soooo good we tried a bunch of stuff on the menu my wife ordered the birra tacos I had the fried fish tacos . The tortilla's were made from scratch .we didn’t have a reservation and they were able too accommodate us right away being from a food town like Chicago I was impressed with the food and level of service from the waiter definitely would recommend anyone who lives or is staying in the area to come and try this gem you won’t be disappointed .
