Not sure who is rating this place. But this is not worth a second try in my opinion.

Pros: •the burrito had more meat than vegetables.
•the Mexican steak had a lot of spice and flavor.
•restaurant appeared clean.

Cons:•the soda from the machine tasted disgusting and was hot. Like hot enough the ice melted leaving us with watery, gross soda that didn’t taste right in the first place.
•the chips and “queso” - it is yellow nacho cheese and the chips were so stale they were rubbery.
•the beans were so thin and flavorless.
•the burrito was just … mediocre. My husband asked for a chicken with chorizo burrito instead of just chicken and was told no.

We’ve eaten at a huge variety of Mexican places and this is the worst we’ve tried in Louisville. Not a single other soul came in to eat while we were here. I have no idea how this is rated so highly, nor do I know how there are three others at this “chain.”

We will not be back. It was a very mediocre / bad experience.

Paid $10 for the chips and dip, and it was nacho cheese dip they serve at football games 🤮 for it to be a “authentic” restaurant the cheese sauce should not be out of a can. Do not recommend, there are plenty of authentic restaurants in the area

The cheese pull on the birria tacos are insane - meat so tender. Highly recommend!

I love coming here! Food is really good for the money spent and I always leave satisfied. Since this place opened, i stopped going to the qdoba nearby which was my go-to. The workers mainly speak spanish which is to be expected with how (pretty much) authentic the food is. So if you love good food and want to practice your spanish, this is a great place for it. A downside is they dont serve alcohol because the owners are religious from what ive heard. Also id stay away from the chips and queso here. The quesos stiff.

For starters, we ordered chips & queso, the “queso” was yellow cheese that came out of a can that is sold at ballparks. The refried beans were watery like they put them in a blender. They charged us extra for paying with a debit card. And the waitress spoke zero English. I 100% do not recommend eating here!!!
