I rarely leave reviews but today I am. I ate at Gus’s for the first time today and I must say it was amazing. The waitress was lovely, welcoming and attentive. Everything came out hot, the fried chicken wasn’t over breaded, it was perfect with the perfect amount of spice and reasonably priced. I give it an 11 out of 10 and I will definitely be going back on the regular.
AVOID THIS LOCATION! I traveled to Louisville this past week and had the pleasure of being introduced to Gus's chicken at the Kentucky Derby BourbonVille event. The chicken was delicious, I couldn't wait to try it again before leaving. So, we went out of our way to visit the restaurant on Saturday before we were left and had the most horrible service. As a matter of fact - after 30 minutes we left WITHOUT eating.
