There was a sign on the drive thru speaker saying “our speaker is broke, just say hello” so I said hello when I arrived. No one responded. I drove to the window and waited to be acknowledged where the rude associate starts complaining and saying how people need to follow directions and stop pulling up to the window without ordering. He was extremely aggressive and hateful in how he spoke. I apologized and stated I had said hello at the speaker with no response. He did not apologize for his behavior once. I feel sorry for even choosing this place for breakfast.

Literally only me and the person in front of me at the drive thru. No one has been to the window in 10 minutes. Finally get to the window and the cashier asks me what my order was again. It was a machine taking the order which was a red flag as well. But I don't go to Hardee's of then so I don't recall what it was called. So I ended up d driving away. Huge waste of time

really enjoy Hardee’s and their food, but I saw something during my visit that was a bit concerning. While I was waiting for my order, I noticed what seemed to be the manager eating her food right in the food prep area. She picked up her burrito (or something similar) directly from the counter where orders are held before bagging, and ate it right there where they prepare food for customers.
Kentucky’s health code, which follows the FDA Food Code, specifically prohibits employees from eating in food preparation areas to prevent cross-contamination. Staff are required to eat only in designated break areas to keep everything sanitary. This kind of behavior is a health code violation, especially troubling when it comes from management.
I hope Hardee’s can address this, as it’s important to keep food safety a priority.

Great place to grab breakfast. Always fresh and even if drive thru is wrapped around the building they get you to the window and on your way within 5 minutes. Love to eat breakfast here on Sundays on my way to church!
