You know you've found a gem when you purposely slow down eating to make the enjoyment last... I literally slowed the pace of spooning up my Butternut Squash soup as I neared the bottom of the bowl to make the experience last! WOW what a great place to eat at a BARGAIN price for the quality of the food, it's presentation and the setting. If you haven't eaten here you are truly missing out! It has the widest array of Vegan and Vegetarian selections I've ever seen. Did I say WOW!!

Flavorful fried rice and decent size serving although not huge. Amazing how they get the tofu to have a texture similar to chicken. One of the better fried rice dishes I have had in recent memory. Did not miss the meat at all and I am not a vegetarian. Healthier too. Can’t wait to try the soups. They make the tofu right there in the restaurant. Very friendly staff. I plan on a return visit soon.

WOW this place is so delicious, healthy, and adorable! I loved the fresh spring rolls with the Taro root frozen boba tea Yum! The staff was super nice and quick with the preparation of food. Inside there is special seating for dinner and it looks so lovely I can’t wait to actually sit down and eat. It was super slow the day that I went in and I couldn’t believe it because the food/tea was so incredible. You have to give this place a try even if you are not Vegan/Vegetarian - the tofu taste like chicken ?

The BEST food! Everything has delicious flavor with no compromise to health! Service both times we’ve been was amazing. Pictured: orange tofu, green curry, roasted vegetables, Thai salad, potato nest.

I have been to Heart & Soy 3 times now (2 dining in & one takeout) and all experiences were perfect through and through. The service isn't freaky fast, but that's how you know it's gonna be delicious. The staff is extremelyyyyyy nice and personable. They always make sure you have everything you need. You can find nothing but terrific, high quality meals, apps, & soups that are all veg friendly! :) I'll be a forever regular.

Love the BBQ tofu sandwich. Nobody makes it like they do here. Tons of vegan and vegetarian options. Best option if you ask me.

A hidden gem in the heart of Louisville!!!!BEST vegetarian food we've had!!! The food tasted amazing. So many choices on the menu. I strongly recommend the sizzling rice cake (xôi chiên) and the clay pot tofu. So yummy. Would definitely come back!

First off this is my first time eating at a vegan restaurant. This good was absolutely delicious and filling. So tasty.. I didn't have to add anything to it but the sauce that I had them put on the side because they said it has spice to it but it wasn't that spicy. I love that you can go to Roots which is conjoined with this place but has a separate entrance and make it a total restaurant experience. Great food

The owner was extremely friendly! Food was excellent! I made the mistake thinking there would be meat on the menu, but was very pleased with the tofu. My daughter said the Matcha tea was very good. The experience of sitting on the floor was really neat too! I’ve never done that even when I was stationed on Korea. Very pleasant place to eat!

When I'm I'll this is my go too spot. You can feel the healing in their food. The Pho is astounding and miso soup. It's close to my job and I frequent this spot when I want to feel enlightened!!

I've been wanting to check this place out for awhile. Honestly, I'm not sure why I waited so long and I have major regrets! I enjoyed both dishes I tried AND the recommended tea. We ordered the crispy shiitake mushroom, Hue spicy noodle soup, and Rooibos sweet almond tea. I'm a huge mushroom fan and they did not skimp on the mushrooms in this flavor packed dish (this is basically a stir fry mushroom dish). The hue spicy noodle was decent, very refreshing flavors. I thought it might be a play on bun bo hue--which I LOVE. But, I was not let down at all. They are significantly different though, I enjoyed the lightness of their hue noodles. I've never had rooibos tea...and now I'm hooked. Plus, it's caffeine free, huge win! I can't wait to go back and try other flavors.

This unassuming gem is so delicious. I have eaten the take out and dine in!! Some of the flavor combinations are unique and delicious. I am in Awe!! Get the glass noodle salad for a fresh flavorful taste sensation! The coconut curried eggplant was a new flavor combo for me and gave me that comfort food feel. The beet soup was a first and so yummy. subtle yet deep in flavor .Be adventurous. Be healthy!! And they have the best made in house tofu!! :-)

I LOVE HEART & SOY. Every single thing I have ordered from this place is delicious. Their boba is spectacular. The pearls are the perfect texture and size. The actual liquid is almost milkshake like? It's unlike any boba I've ever had, but I love it. My absolute favorite thing on their menu is the BBQ tofu sandwich. It is basically like a bahn mi. It is packed with INSANE flavor. It's so so so good. My dad and I get it all the time. This is my dad's favorite restaurant in Louisville and he is not vegetarian. It's definitely in my top three places to eat in Louisville. Their spring rolls are delicious. I've also had their pad Thai and curry fried rice, both also very good!

Quaint little shop along Bardstown road. All vegan/vegetarian menu with Vietnamese/Korean influence. We ordered the: BBQ tofu, steam bun, crispy shiitake mushrooms, taro pudding, and milk tea boba. The sauce on the vegetables was absolutely delicious, should have ordered rice on the side! The taro pudding had an interesting consistency - it was more like dough, than a standard pudding. BBQ tofu came out steaming and the flavor was smooth and savory. Definitely want to come back to try the Singapore noodles and curry fried rice!

Came for the first time after multiple recommendations. I've recently underwent a lifestyle change and have been attempting to eat vegan for little under 2 weeks now. It was originally a daunting task and I was worried about a lack of flavorful options.Heart and Soy has completely changed my perspective on veganism. Their prices are fair and the number of vegan options is almost overwhelming. The food was prepared fresh and served quickly. Not to mention delicious as well. I can't wait to return!
