The employees are wonderful and always do a great job. The company itself, I have issues with. They are paying their baristas $9.25 an hour, with no health benefits or any benefits really. They have been raising prices on drinks every year the past 3 or 4 years, while the quality of their drinks has gotten worse and worse due to the low morale of their workers and corporate's lack of care to keep up with the quality. I don't blame the workers at all. Get it together, Heine brothers.

The baristas here are always so friendly and have something yummy to recommend. This shop is the perfect place to get away from the bustle of Bardstown Rd for a bit as well.

Staying at the Aloft hotel which had some weird breakfast nook setup we could not figure out, we found this place six blocks away. The coffee was definitely decent, but the breakfast scone was soggy and dry at the same time (is that possible?). But it was a decent coffee which I think was the goal. Word to the wise- there are several places within this indoor "market" area so be sure to explore! Louisville likes these types of pop-ups in the same building area- I do not.

Love to come here after school to study! The atmosphere is really great and usually the employees are really friendly. Their signature drinks are amazing, and sometimes I'll go out of my way to grab one of their hot chocolates. Great business, great coffee, great place!

I called this morning and ordered a traveler to be picked up in 30 min. The employee I spoke with was rude on the phone saying I needed to come in and pay and order. I said that the travelers usually take 20 min to make so I was preordering, so I could come in and pay and not wait. She was irritated for some reason. I showed up 30 min later and she spitefully just did not make the traveler. I had to stand here and wait 20 minutes while they made the coffee, no apology. The employee was wearing a Stranger Things t-shirt, I didn't get her name. I live in the neighborhood and love to support local. I will not return.

Order taker was super friendly. The drink maker seemed to be in a bad mood. Didn't read the "no foam" & gave extra foam. Pay $5 for a drink half of it is air. Not cool.Husband asked for 1 sweet and low got 3. So not a place we will recommend or return to. Amazingly it's busy. Idk how when did is made wrong.

Stopped by HB Douglas Loop for a much needed Friday pick-me-up and of course, they delivered! It was so nice to see indoor seating was open and available to guests. We opted for our usuals today, an iced oat milk latte with honey and a cold brew, delicious as always! I even noticed a few new food items, particularly a chocolate cake, on offer but opted just for coffee today. Maybe next time chocolate cake!
