Heine Brothers Coffee - MidCity Mall/The Highlands

I love the Highlands location. And the one near Poplar Level. But the staff at St. Matthews/Chenoweth is RUDE! Will not be back.

I have become a regular of the Bardstown Road location in Louisville. The coffee and the food is always consistently good but It is the constant, great customer service that keeps bringing me back. I wish I could send this with all of the staff names that treat me so great but unfortunately, I do not know all of their names. Jess is one that truly stands out. Even if she is not working the window, if she hears my order over the speaker she makes it a point to say, hey. It is obvious that she is sincere about making sure the customers have a great experience.

Driving home from the Derby, we stopped at Costco to get gas and this Heine Brothers was right down the street - not being from the area, I had no idea what to expect.
The place was super cute with very updated decor.
The service was excellent, answered a few of our questions and guided us to the gluten free bakery.
The coffee was delicious - because it was Derby, we stayed in theme and I ordered the Heine Julep and my husband ordered the Dirty Derby Chai! Both were so good!!!
We also ordered scones, I ordered the Cheddar Chive and he ordered the chocolate Peanut butter Chocolate Chip GF - both were so satisfying!
They also have a cute little patio area that we couldn't use because it was raining, and small retail area to take home some beans!
Rated 5/5 - would definitely go again if I were in the area!!

Not a prejudice person at all but a couple days ago I placed an online order at this location and the African American lady who works here completely neglected everything on my order and just gave a me a normal iced coffee when it was clear is day to see i had added cold foam with a caramel drizzle plus a ton more I’m very disappointed and not sure if i will be coming back at this particular location

I love Heine Bros - they have the best food, mission, etc. I have been served well at this location but had a weird experience today. They took my order, a banana chai iceberg and a scone. I brought my own cup, a 20oz. The cashier was newer. She asked the worker behind her whether she should charge for a medium or a large because my cup was right between the sizes. She said a large, which I thought was strange because I brought my own cup to save them a cup, you would think they would charge me for a medium since they're not giving me half a cup (4oz) of what they charge for a large. Then, I went to sit down. The cashier came and asked if it would be okay to give me a frozen drink because that's the only way they could do the banana in it. I said yes, that was what I wanted- the iceberg. Then, the other more experienced worker came over and told me that since the new employee didn't charge me enough, I needed to come pay for the rest of my order. She couldn't figure out how to do it though so she just charged me $1.59 for a banana. So the other customers waited while I stood there and counted change. I feel like it's kind of silly, since it was their mistake they shouldn't have made a big deal and got me from my seat to come back and pay more. I did not make a mistake in my order, it was just a new employee that heard me wrong and entered it wrong. But it was the experienced employee who made such a big deal. I have never had someone charge me too low and make me come back and pay. Really strange and awkward for me.

I stop by the store on Frankfort Ave Louisville ky to get my coffee at 3.25 pm employee name will told me he is about to close and he is not able to take any orders Store hours showing close at 7 pm and all doors unlocked and there is still customers setting inside This is unprofessional and if you plan to close lock the doors and put sign on the window
