I love the Highlands location. And the one near Poplar Level. But the staff at St. Matthews/Chenoweth is RUDE! Will not be back.
I have become a regular of the Bardstown Road location in Louisville. The coffee and the food is always consistently good but It is the constant, great customer service that keeps bringing me back. I wish I could send this with all of the staff names that treat me so great but unfortunately, I do not know all of their names. Jess is one that truly stands out. Even if she is not working the window, if she hears my order over the speaker she makes it a point to say, hey. It is obvious that she is sincere about making sure the customers have a great experience.
Wonderful friendly folks all brought together by a bean.

I love going to this Heine Bothers location. It is a very relaxing spot to work at during my work from home days and they always have amazing food and drinks to keep me going.

I stop by the store on Frankfort Ave Louisville ky to get my coffee at 3.25 pm employee name will told me he is about to close and he is not able to take any orders Store hours showing close at 7 pm and all doors unlocked and there is still customers setting inside This is unprofessional and if you plan to close lock the doors and put sign on the window

The cashier was really nice and gave me some wonderful recommendations. I tried a matcha, and loved it! The cafe is also clean. Everything was just really nice.

Nice place to go if they could stay stocked with pastries and coffee ☕. Stop in a multiple occasion and they were out of both.

Louisville coffee chain worth visiting if you're from out of town ~ it's a part of the culture here.
Things you should know:
I. PARKING
There's a free private parking lot. Easy.
II. SERVICE
Nothing notable stood out with the staff ~ their care over customers is standard.
They have indoor and outdoor seating. Dogs are welcome outside, but not inside. They provide a convenient drive through service.
III. QUALITY
Standard coffee & tea, with a wide selection of flavors and a pastry selection. I wouldn't say the interior is the coziest atmosphere with metallic or wood chairs scattered amongst the space. Large windows flood natural light into the building. None of the beverages are served in glassware ~ all made to-go. The vibe is like a chain esthetically, like a Starbucks.
IV. CAPACITY
There is typically a fair amount of available tables. You won't have to worry about not having somewhere to sit.
This is my favorite local spot for coffee. I come here almost every morning before work. I always get cold brews and tumbled espressos. The service is always excellent, the wide variety of flavors is fun, and they always make my coffee just right.
Dietary restrictions: They offer dairy alternatives like oat milk, almond milk, and coconut milk.

It creeps me out that they promote their gay stuff where kids can see it but they do make the best drinks in St.Mathews.

The Heine App is a train wreck. I can't think of another retailer that has made such a poor job of rolling out new POS/App technology. And six months later still no fix. The staff are fed up with the technology that negatively impacts speed of service, significantly diminishes their tips and over-complicates each transaction. They tell me it was meant to be fixed in January, March and April, and here we are in May. This 15-year Heine devotee is jumping ship for other local options.
I live in Atlanta and was up in Louisville visiting family, it was there that I became entirely addicted to Heine Brothers' Lavender Honey Latte (got one every day I was there and on my way out of town too). Best coffee drink I've ever had. I have been trying to recreate it since I came back home and have been so incapable of doing so. Devastated. Please check them out. Great vibe, great coffee, great everything. I miss y'all.
