I was excited to see I was walking near a speakeasy so I had to try it. They had their holiday menu and all of the drinks sounded delicious. The atmosphere was cozy, making it a great location for a date or to relax with a couple of friends. Everyone was friendly and provide great recommendations for first time visitors. I look forward to trying them again.

The restaurant was immaculate..My wife and I celebrated my 72nd birthday there...the ambiance gives you a feel of a seafood restaurant located at any of the top coastal tourist resorts! I had the stuffed flounder...with there butter lettuce salad...totally delicious..in fact, the flounder dish was better than ones served at one of my favorite seafood restaurants: Flounders in Pensicola, Fl...The owner "Megan", is a hands on owner ensuring service and was pleasant and sociable to all of the patrons...I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys seafood!
Beautiful quiet ambiance, perfect for a relaxing time. Splendid drinks and service.

This was my first time in Louisville & at Hell or High Water. It was such a fun spot to visit. They had plenty of winter cocktails to choose from and the space was decorated beautifully for the holiday season! Highly recommend checking this place out if youâre in the area!

Seafood like you are living on the New England Coast! The open flow of this beautiful restaurant is amazing. The owner Meghan was active on the floor and treated everyone like family. The chef also just as active coming between the kitchen and the floor to make sure the food was superb. The staff worked as a team taking care of everyone. Best servers in town by far! Since I don't drink I was worried I would just get stuck with soda or water but no, they have an amazing mocktail list!! I had raw oysters and broiled oysters, a friend had the salad, and another had the salmon, they were all so mouth watering! Can't wait to make this my seafood stable!
Its a vibe! Beautiful atmosphere, amazing food, and 5 star service. I will definitely be a regular!
Couldn't wait for Franny's to open and had a wonderful experience. The space is beautiful and well put together. The GM, Chad, was very helpful and friendly, service was prompt and attentive, and Chef Spencer put together a wonderful menu with a delicious fish and chips platter! Definitely recommend this spot!

Such a great new spot. Excellent fresh seafood. Accessible pricing. Gorgeous space. Love it!!
We went last night! The restaurant was beautiful! Service was outstanding. Food was delicious. We will definitely be back!!
Opening night at Schnitzelburg's newest dining sensation...Franny's Seafood! We were seated promptly, the wait staff was on point, the cocktails (and mocktails) were cold, refreshing and delicious! And the oysters on the half shell (our starter) were amazing. Be sure to give the chili ice and the onion ice accompaniments a try! Next up was the Butrer Lettuce Salad...wow! What a treat. Then came the Crab Claw Smash Sandwich. Just a delightfully unique dish served with some fantastic fries. Room for dessert? Not really, but the key lime pie creme brĂ»lĂ©e put us under a spell not unlike a âSiren's Song.â In other words, we liked it all. Give Franny's a visit.
Atmosphere is off the charts. Has a very prohibition era vibe. The drinks are not cheap but their custom ones are decent. They could cut back a bit on the 90% ice in the glass but we tried a variety and all but one was good. Oddly, the one that tasted like dirt was the one recommended by our waitress. If you could mold the words âpretentious and arrogantâ into human form, youâd get our waitress. If her name wasnât Karen, Iâd be blown away. I bet when sheâs not working at Hell or High Water, sheâs busy working at an HOA, telling people their lawns need to be cut. I bet she gleefully enforced COVID rules at restaurants back in the day, making sure people wore their masks in between bites of food. No need for us to ever return as long as that harpy works there.
