really fantastic whiskey sour, atmosphere is very comfortable and relaxed. great bartenders, everyone was very nice. street parking is abundant and convenient. I plan on returning.

Decent little dive bar, with a couple interesting drinks. Also better than average bar food.However, bathrooms are not up kept at all.They don't even have working locks on bathroom stalls, and wife confirmed it was the same on female side too. -1 star for that.

The High Horse was my favorite bar for almost 3 months in the summer of 2022. I come from Germany and have made many good friends. For example James - a member of the owners - and the girls behind the counter.Particularly noteworthy is the bingo evening on Thursday - terrible prizes but super cool! I miss this bar.

They have A/C! What a fun little spot to take out of town guests! Everyone was super friendly, and the decor speaks for itself. Such a cool little spot and so glad they have redone everything and re-opened. Had a great time with amazing friends and good conversation with other locals and bartender. Will definitely be coming back .

Located a little bit off the usual bourbon walk and restaurants in Louisville, we headed to High Horse to finish the evening and attempt to secure the "Soused" badge after already doing some liver damage tonight.This is definitely a Dive Bar and it wears its label proudly. The scarred tables and slightly grubby floor add to the charm. That said, the men's room was clean. This was a fun time and while it wasn't busy on a Monday evening, the service was good and the few other patrons were similarly laid back.We had a round of drinks, did our check in and boom! Soused!Parking: Street parking in Louisville. Check the signs for enforcement times.
