The Original Highland Fish Market (Middletown)

I was actually at the new location in the Highlands, and it was lovely. Beautiful fresh fish, helpful staff.

My husband brought home the blue fin tuna this weekend and the way he cooked it was so delicious; it tasted like a filet mignon🥰 we’ll definitely make this dish for future guests. The product quality, freshness and selection is fantastic at Highland Fish. And, they help advise you on how to cook your seafood for the best taste at home.

I love supporting local businesses versus the larger stores. This is a family owned FRESH seafood (not just fish) market. The service is amazing, the staff is super friendly, the store is very clean and organized and they are competitively priced! I will be back, thank you for being in our community!

I am from the Texas Gulf Coast, so I Love Seafood! Heard about Highland Fish Market and decided to try them out. Bought some Red Snapper today. Great quality and super fresh. Came out well. I know where to buy fresh, quality seafood here now!

Smoked salmon is the best!

I bought a pound of scallops and a pound of raw shrimp from Highland and it is by far the best looking/tasting seafood I have found in Louisville. The shop is extremely clean and has a nice seafood smell. Everything looked fresh and they had a nice variety. It is not cheap by any means but if buying seafood you shouldn’t skimp! Hands down better and fresher seafood than Whole Foods! Went back today to get more shrimp and scallops along with some homemade crab cakes… Highly Recommend!

Genuinely fresh seafood. Great people to deal with. Very clean store. Quality selection and capability to get more if desired is a plus. Will be making the trip to go here many more times.

I always felt the owners cared about every piece of seafood in the store, delivering the best quality possible being 10 hours from the nearest ocean. A 3 pound plank of Scottish Salmon is always a hit at parties especially smoked on a Big Green Egg. The Ahi Tuna is easy to prepare for when you want to make a creative dinner. Everett will give you cooking recommendations for anything there. Remember, doctors are starting to say that fish is a healthy meal option.

I just moved to Louisville after living in Tokyo for 4 years and happened to drive by and stop at this place.The employee (I believe Everett) was very kind, helpful, and passionate about fish.My wife and I ate sushi about once a week in Japan, so we were really excited to find this fish market. We bought some salmon and scallops and they were both delicious. Can't wait to come again!
