Went here over 3 weeks ago and was overcharged. Not a big deal as I figured any establishment that overcharges their customers would fix it. Called and spoke to a female who confirmed I was overcharged but stayed the owner is the only one that can fix the issue. I said no problem and she stated he will call me back same day to fix it. Never got a call. Called back, no owner but he’d call again. Waited few more days and still no call back. It has been almost a month and I still have yet to be compensated for being overcharged. This was my first time visiting this place and unfortunately will be my last since the owner doesn’t seem to care about fixing issues that occur. At this point I will just bite the bullet and take the loss on being overcharged and just never visit this place again along with encouraging others to do the same. Very unfortunate

Great bar. The cocktails are fantastic, the woodbourne was one of the better bourbon cocktails I’ve had.

Met a few friends for the NFL championship games. Great vibe in there. They have one of those set ups where you can play songs in the bar with an app. Service was friendly, food was very good. I had the burger and also the traditional wings. They are un-breaded with crispy skin tossed in sauce. A great wing.

Let's "wing it," whaddya say?I have taken a deep dive into each of what the HB&G offers in the chicken wing department (short of the super hot one) and here's my takeaway (note: wait until the end for the big reveal):LEMON/PEPPER: If you're a seafood lover, you'll really enjoy this. It's a fresh spin on wings. Light on the sauce, savory on the taste.BBQ: As straightforward as anyone can get using the word "barbecue." If you're craving bbq'ed chicken (or barbecue in general), this doesn't miss a beat in that department.GARLIC/PARMESAN: It's a difficult taste to describe, but it's a savory dream like I've never had before. It's my second fave and will be in my hot rotation every time I set foot in the place.BUFFALO: I went to the Anchor Bar in Buffalo in 1986 to try the genesis of this wing and, IMHO, the Highland Bar & Grill's version is better. It's meaty. It's juicier. It's not shy about the sauce lathering, either.CAROLINA GOLD: Flavorful without being over the top. Perfect for someone who's looking for substance over style and some protein that's going to fit the bill when you just need something to eat.MAFIA/UNDERGROUND: This sauce isn't on the menu, but I was tipped off to its A-F'ING-MAZING potential, so I put on my best manners and asked if I could try it. I simply have never had anything like this. It won't hurt you, but it will bite a bit -- in a good way. I do know what two flavors go into this, but in all due respect, I'm not sayin' because HB&G should have this magic to themselves. My A#1 favorite.

I love this place for many reasons, but you won't find better wings and all around bar food in the city! Great prices, and the staff is top notch! Also a great place to watch games!

Wings were great - large with good ranch and blue cheese.

Get the burger. You will not regret it. My only regret was demolishing it before I could snap a pic. A hand made patty, cold crisp veggies, with a side of crispy fries, perfection! HGB is the perfect neighborhood spot for locals to enjoy a cold dror any out of towners hoping to catch their team on one of their many t.v's. I we eiñ
