Okay food. Good deals on drinks before 6. Noisy when crowded. Big booths.
6/2025:
A good assortment of food and all that I have had is very tasty. The freshly cut french fries and the homemade fried pickle spears are excellent. Lots to choose from on the menu. I thought the shaved roast beef on a hoagie with sautéed onions and cheese, and au jus was very tasty.
A neighborhood gem. Good everything.
Went for Sunday brunch. The wings were hot and crispy. Chose the dry rub and the flavor did not disappoint. I enjoyed the Crescent Hill Breakfast. Scrambled eggs were cooked perfectly, the French toast was light and fluffy and the sausage was seasoned just right and not greasy. Others at the table enjoyed a large chicken Caesar salad and patty melt. We left with tummies full and smiling faces.
One of if not THE BEST CHEESEBURGER. Cant go wrong with a Scotty’s stack.
Staff was friendly and attentive!
Waiter and waitress made sure our glasses were full.
Great place for food; large servings. Everything I've had has been great.
Enjoyed our lunch here. Love that it’s in an old house/building. Waitress was very nice.
Food was excellent. There was a private event at 7, the server seemed more focused on that than our table. I had to get her attention to take our order, we had to wait for napkins and silverware, and she never checked on us until we were done eating. We were there before 6, so I'm not sure what else she was focused on.

First time here and wish I had gone sooner. Every dish and cocktail looked delicious. The Halloween special witches brew was very sweet and savory. They have drink specials most nights. The spicy burger was just spicy enough while still being flavorful. And I really enjoyed the fries too!

I really feel fortunate to have the Tavern in Crescent Hill. A pretty great take on pub fare, an atmosphere which matches the neighborhood vibe, and consistently good service.

Absolutely Love Love Love this place. Everything was great. I ordered the sliders. They were so delicious. Staff was quick, friendly and tentative. The restaurant was clean and even the restroom. The vibe was great in this place. Just everything was awesome. So happy with my experience here.

Do NOT order takeout! This was a HUGE, expensive disappointment. Where do I begin...We spent over $200 for a birthday dinner (Take out), I'll start with the positives: It was ready early, nothing was missing, and the blue cheese dressing was outstanding. Negatives: The food was very cold (and we lived very close to the establishment), the fries were all clumped together (like in a ball) and not edible (they sweated together in the little bags), the wings were not sauced nearly enough and the chicken was SUPER dry (tough). The burgers were WAY over cooked and they gave us 4-5 packets of ketchup for 8 orders of fries. There were toppings on the chicken sandwich that were not supposed to be there. The wedge salad was somehow warm/the tomatoes were mixed in with the bacon. I had really high hopes for this experience. I would definitely not order take out from here.
