Holy Smokes BBQ & Catering

Went there for lunch today spent 21 dollars for leg and thigh dinner the chicken was small and dry as sand i won't be going back🤬

I have to start by saying this is my second time coming here and the food was amazing, best barbecue place in the city but there was something that I didn't like. The young lady that took my order cared more about her phone then our order it looked like she was more interested in going home then working. The young men with curly hair took my order the first time and he was amazing I gladly left him a tip he took our order and also gave it to us. Overall this place is grate

Holy smokes recently cater my wedding and their food and customer service was amazing. All our guests went crazy for the turkey ribs and wings. Ever since setting up the tasting we received the best customer service and the food didn’t disappoint. Terry, we want to thank you and your staff for making everything so easy and delicious!

I went to eat it.Hardly smokes the barbecue.The pulled pork with so awesome and the sauce was just right, the baked beans.Now they are the best I've ever ate.And I've lived in 5 different states.And these were the best barbecue beans.I've ever ate the strange names.You gotta try them to the dice Staples.I just love it all and the coal.Slow is fresh and like natural.It is the bomb

I grew up hearing how good this was and finally ordered some. Expensive waste of money, it was foul. My turkey leg tasted like it was from the day before. No seasoning. I gave it to the dogs. Mac n cheese literally just tastes like salt and pepper, nothing else. And my green beans tasted like whatever pan they were made in. Disappointing.

Believe everything every comment is telling you this place is Very disappointing upsetting and just the letdown to be charging so much and having such low quality is outrageous. Just read everyone else’s comments that say it’s not good. I wish I just believed them before I went.

The food is delicious!!! Very fresh and reminds me of the food my grandparents made/served at family gatherings--which was the GREATEST!!!
The lady at the counter was absolutely delightful and courteous and seemed to really care about the customer. It was great chatting with her!
The atmosphere is charming and laid back and very comfortable.

I was told I couldn’t be served today. I sat and asked why. There were 2 teenager girls working the register sitting and laughing at me. After I asked several more times they said because my dad said I can’t serve you.

I know why, because one of the girls had a problem with me the first year of high school and still had a weird grudge against me. How can you not serve someone at a public restaurant? And for something that happened 4 years ago. I’ve been back many times since then and have never been told that. The owner was good friends with my parents and I was quite embarrassed that, this situation happened.

Highly recommend. The food is amazing every time. We always get the turkey shoulder ribs. Strangest most 1 of a kind meat you will ever have.

Great pulled pork.

I loved this place so much, we'd drive about 45 minutes to get there.. Every time I come it's a great experience and great workers! But yesterday even though the new male cashier was great and warming! The lady in the back (the cook with pink hat) wasn't.. we ordered a Family Tip which came with 2 family sides (I'm always told)🤷🏾‍♀️ I tipped them heavily bc I love how much comes with it. After receiving a small regular okra, large macaroni and 6 pieces of rib tips we were very disappointed.. We didn't even get sauce like we usually do.. so we went back up there and said this isn't usually what we get, so they gave us 5 more tips and wasn't happy to do so.. NORMALLY a great place.. but I don't think we'll travel another 45 mins to be disappointed...

Food was piping hot delicious service was awesome

Very unhappy with our lunch today. Got 30 wings, 2 sides and bbq pork. The sides and bbq pork was just ok. Very disappointed in the wings. I know they always had small wings but these was extra small no meat, dry and leather like texture couldn't even eat them. Cannot believe the workers even put them in the box to give to a customer to eat by the look of them. See picture in comments, quarter is to compare how small and dried up they are.
