Homemade Ice Cream & Pie Kitchen

The Brownie a la mode with chocolate syrup, whipped cream, and cherry on top is chocolate perfection! The brownie is rich true brownie texture frosted top warmed up. Then vanilla ice cream, chocolate syrup, whipped cream, and cherry. You can choose your ice cream flavor and toppings.
We sat outside at one of the concrete tables and watched the sunset as we enjoyed our evening! We love Homemade Ice Cream & Pie Kitchen! It has a home plus vintage ice cream shop vibe.

Came and got some caramel cakes and ice cream, treats were great but the girl that was helping us on this saturday evening was rude and rushing us through our order, when we were ordering she kept interrupting and saying “anything else” while we were trying to give her our order. Did not feel welcomed probably will have to try another location in the future

milkshakes were great... pies were so good my relatives ate both before I got to try a piece!

If you love the smell of sewer gas this is the place to go. On a serious note the food is delicious but the smell is horrible.

Brittany at Fern Creek store was amazing. She was very helpful and professional and got us together for last minute treats for our son’s birthday!

Tasty and sweet baked goods. We got a slice of chocolate cake with butter cream frosting, banana pudding, and Dutch Apple Pie. All items were worth the stop.

I love this little place and their sweets are so good! I got a slice of red velvet cake and I'm eating it 2 whole days after I got it, i swear that it's like I just picked it up an hour ago. Also go a slice of apple pie and some ice cream on my vist and the vanilla is so good

Some of the best ice cream I have ever had! There is so much to choose from. They also have pies that you can get a slice of, cake balls, and buckeye balls. Everything was absolutely delicious. Service was beyond perfect.

We bought 3 things:
1. Coconut cream pie- very good!
2. Chocolate silk cake- Icing was wonderful, but the cake was very dry.
3. Giant chocolate chip cookie with chocolate drizzle- Delicious!

Over the weekend I placed an order for a half sheet cake for my daughter’s baptism at the Highlands Pie Kitchen. When I picked it up I was absolutely SHOCKED at how bad the quality was. The writing was in print, and there were no decorative roses at all. I immediately called the Pie Kitchen in Fern Creek & asked if their baker had better penmanship and could fix the cake and they were working on my cake within 10 minutes. Their amazing baker Lance spent 45 minutes of his time redoing the cake and made it beautiful!!! I cannot thank the workers and Lance at the Fern Creek location enough for saving the day!

Best pies and great ice cream.
