Brittany at Fern Creek store was amazing. She was very helpful and professional and got us together for last minute treats for our son’s birthday!

Some of the best ice cream I have ever had! There is so much to choose from. They also have pies that you can get a slice of, cake balls, and buckeye balls. Everything was absolutely delicious. Service was beyond perfect.

1. Coconut cream pie- very good!
2. Chocolate silk cake- Icing was wonderful, but the cake was very dry.
3. Giant chocolate chip cookie with chocolate drizzle- Delicious!

Over the weekend I placed an order for a half sheet cake for my daughter’s baptism at the Highlands Pie Kitchen. When I picked it up I was absolutely SHOCKED at how bad the quality was. The writing was in print, and there were no decorative roses at all. I immediately called the Pie Kitchen in Fern Creek & asked if their baker had better penmanship and could fix the cake and they were working on my cake within 10 minutes. Their amazing baker Lance spent 45 minutes of his time redoing the cake and made it beautiful!!! I cannot thank the workers and Lance at the Fern Creek location enough for saving the day!

Ordered a brownie, chocolate chip cookie, strawberry cake slice, and cookie monster. Total for all four was $18, pretty reasonable at bakery standards.

Review Insights
-Strawberry cake was the favorite, the icing is sweet, however the cake is not very sweet at all to contrast. 8.4/10
-The brownie has a good texture and the icing reminds of the old school high-school cake icing (in the best way!!) 7.8/10
-the cookie monster icing was a bit much but not too bad like great american cookie double doosies. The cookie is soft and overall great for a sweet tooth or carb day!!! 7/10
-The chocolate chip cookie could do without the chocolate drizzle as the cookie itself is perfect with the brown butter and semi-sweet chocolate chip flavor/ratios. 7.5/10

I've been coming here for almost 20 years. I've since moved away and was so excited to stop by for some goodies before leaving town. Unfortunately my carmel cupcake was stale, and the portion size of the Dutch apple pie has dramatically decreased over the years. I'm okay paying more due to inflation and increased costs, but the portion is noticeably smaller. So sad, I used to love this place.

Have been coming here for years and never disappointed! The caramel cupcakes are classic and amazing.

I came to Louisville to visit my family and came across this shop because I was in the mood for ice cream. I ordered the coconut almond fudge ice cream and it is the best ice cream I've ever tasted. Unfortunately I'll now be craving it until I can make it back. My mom tried the butter pecan and strawberry cake with cream cheese frosting and she really liked it also. The inside is clean and decorated nicely with vintage looking signs. I highly recommend this shop!

it took forever to get anyone to even acknowledge that I was there and wanting to order. they were chit chatting with each other. when I got to my car to eat what I had purchased I was highly disappointed that it tasted so stale, like it was in the display case for a long time.
