Brittany at Fern Creek store was amazing. She was very helpful and professional and got us together for last minute treats for our son’s birthday!

Ordered a Reeses cake based on a previous order and was disappointed. The price did significantly go up and the layers of peanut butter went down, hence not ordering this one any longer, nor can I recommend.

Over the weekend I placed an order for a half sheet cake for my daughter’s baptism at the Highlands Pie Kitchen. When I picked it up I was absolutely SHOCKED at how bad the quality was. The writing was in print, and there were no decorative roses at all. I immediately called the Pie Kitchen in Fern Creek & asked if their baker had better penmanship and could fix the cake and they were working on my cake within 10 minutes. Their amazing baker Lance spent 45 minutes of his time redoing the cake and made it beautiful!!! I cannot thank the workers and Lance at the Fern Creek location enough for saving the day!

Matt provided great service by giving us a good deal with 2 for 1 price of pecan pies, one regular and another with chocolate chips! Visiting from California, we were yearning for Southern style pecan pies, and finally found the right place thanks to help from our local friends in Shelbyville, Kentucky! We have been relishing these pies for a few days - yummy! Next, us foodies have to try the peach cobbler in Georgia! Thank God for the South!

Asked for a slice of pie and was handed quite small slice for the price. (See picture) I mentioned to the employee that it was a small slice for $6.25. She replied, “Yeah, that is a small slice,” and walked away. Pretty disappointing experience for a regular.

Ice cream is alright, nothing amazing or extraordinary.
Bathrooms need a really good, deep cleaning. The females smells like smoke and cat urine upon entering and is just filthy.

As a former employee of Pie Kitchen, I find this establishment ridiculous and disgusting. All of the Pies come frozen from the back, the staff are all underpaid and mistreated. The whip cream is cool whip, the ice cream is freezer burnt, and on top of that the management is openly discriminatory based off sexual identity and gender expression.

I got 2 pies (lemon meringue & Reese's) yesterday at the Fern Creek location, and they were both yummmmyyyy!

Terrible experience. There was a piece of plastic or plastic glove in my husband strawberry cake. We've been trying to get in contact with the GM for 3 weeks now to rectify the issue and still haven't gotten a return call. I'm extremely disappointed and won't be returning.

We have a 4-year-old grandchild whose favorite places are Chick-fila and the "cookie place", Homemade Pie Kitchen located near the Springhurst shopping area. Thus, for over 2 years we have been a 2 times a week customer. Everything they make is delicious! Our grandson especially likes his choices of cake balls, ice cream and the decorated cookies. Sometimes he chooses all three, especially when he includes goodies for his mommy and daddy! In addition, my husband and I have consumed delectable pies, oatmeal and chocolate chip cookies!The best part of our visits is our interactions with two extraordinary staff members, Cardin and Ilse. Cardin is the great store manager, and Ilse is the outstanding baker! Our grandson loves them both because they make him feel so special! Whether it's a grandchild who is leading you to this special place or you just want delectable desserts, you ought to go to experience the extraordinary customer service provided by Cardin and Ilse! We love them, as well as their desserts!

We’ve been traveling to Louisville for the BMX race for almost 20 years and this place is our favorite stop every year. They have a ton of options and everything we’ve had has been good.
