Homemade Ice Cream & Pie Kitchen

Ice cream was very good. We got there late about 9;40 and the staff was very friendly. I had the pumpkin which I loved and the peace love and chocolate which was also very good.

Y'all should REALLY bring back the sugar shaker pie!! I believe that's what it was called. Please consider bringing it back. It was my favorite. Thank you!

The girl who was supposed to do my cake canceled at the last minute I text Brittany at 8 pm she was so ready to help me out and make my cake plus 12 cookies she did the MOST AMAZING JOB EVER the was so PERFECT!! I’m so thankful for Brittany!!

This place has really gone down hill. When did you start selling soft serve ice cream? And is it only certain flavors? I could’ve gotten this at McDonald’s drive thru for a dollar.

Brittany at Fern Creek store was amazing. She was very helpful and professional and got us together for last minute treats for our son’s birthday!

This place has gone down hill. The place is a dump. All tables are dirty, floors a mess. Everything you look at is filthy. The bathroom is a wreck and reeks of urine. Two out of 3 freezers have been down for at least a month so very little to choose from. The cake/pie area nearly bare and what is out looks like it's been sitting for a week. Out of cones.. at an ice cream shop. They need new management and a cleaning crew.

Feels like this place has gone downhill. They’ve had a freezer out for a few weeks and little to no flavors of ice cream to offer (even tho they put a sign out saying they still have all products). The service is always extremely slow but wasn’t as big of a deal breaker until these last few times trying to go in - Such a shame but we won’t be going back.

Why does it always look closed from the outside and not much different on inside? Never seem to have same options at different stores.

They have an ice cream cooler out and it’s been out for a while now. On the out cooler it says everything is still available but staff says only the like 8 flavors they have in the one cooler is all they have so and they just put random stuff out

The food was delicious as always but the guy working could not have been more rude. Hollered at my 5 year old grandson because he touched the glass on the case. He told him to quit touching it because he was going to have to clean it. Seriously? Shouldn't they be cleaning it whether someone touches it or not!?? Very disappointed with service!

Over the weekend I placed an order for a half sheet cake for my daughter’s baptism at the Highlands Pie Kitchen. When I picked it up I was absolutely SHOCKED at how bad the quality was. The writing was in print, and there were no decorative roses at all. I immediately called the Pie Kitchen in Fern Creek & asked if their baker had better penmanship and could fix the cake and they were working on my cake within 10 minutes. Their amazing baker Lance spent 45 minutes of his time redoing the cake and made it beautiful!!! I cannot thank the workers and Lance at the Fern Creek location enough for saving the day!
