Homemade Ice Cream & Pie Kitchen

The food was delicious as always but the guy working could not have been more rude. Hollered at my 5 year old grandson because he touched the glass on the case. He told him to quit touching it because he was going to have to clean it. Seriously? Shouldn't they be cleaning it whether someone touches it or not!?? Very disappointed with service!

Over the weekend I placed an order for a half sheet cake for my daughter’s baptism at the Highlands Pie Kitchen. When I picked it up I was absolutely SHOCKED at how bad the quality was. The writing was in print, and there were no decorative roses at all. I immediately called the Pie Kitchen in Fern Creek & asked if their baker had better penmanship and could fix the cake and they were working on my cake within 10 minutes. Their amazing baker Lance spent 45 minutes of his time redoing the cake and made it beautiful!!! I cannot thank the workers and Lance at the Fern Creek location enough for saving the day!

I’m personally fond of the German chocolate cake it’s the only thing I like there being out one day is one thing but every time I went to this store for a few months now they never have it would love for management to do something about it because they never run out of the other cakes

I go into the homemade ice cream and pie kitchen for Ice Cream Bible study it is a great way to have dessert after dinner and learn about what God's plan is, for your life and how to incorporate the word of God into your life and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with others people who do not know who Jesus Christ is.

This is place has really gone downhill. I used to love this place, and would buy whole pies for the holidays as well as slices when passing by. The last couple times have been a joke. The most recent visit was this past Sunday and the two slices of Dutch Apple with Caramel were disgusting. The crust was almost raw. I tried to salvage it by baking it in the air fryer and it did bake the crust but melted away all the caramel. $14 for two slices. Yes a little pricey, but used to be worth it. Used to be

ordered a cheesecake, whoever i talked to on the phone said it was 25$, i repeated the price, she clarified yes 25$. got there to pick it up, 48.50$ so yeah. it was good, just let me know the correct price maybe?

I ordered a cookie cake from the fern creek location and they did not disappoint! The cake turned out awesome. Brittany, store manager, and her baker, Makayla were wonderful to work with. They went above and beyond for us and we are extremely happy with our results!! We will definitely be going to them for our future orders!!! They don’t have a menu with the prices displayed, or prices anywhere that I saw other than discounted pie. I just bought these cake balls, and they were not in the display case, They were on the back counter, look at the ridiculous size difference, they have no quality control because this is not the first time I’ve gotten like a cookie and one is small and one is giant, all for the same price. $10 for these 4 cake balls
