My friends and I will not be returning to the Hurstbourne location. Upon walking in on 03/02/25 , we were made aware there were only 2 servers. We were ok with that. We waited 30 mins or more to be seated. We then waited an hour and a half for food. We then proceeded to see our waitress trying to handle an issue upfront. Apparently card readers went down. So the manager told her to tell us and possibly a few others that card readers went down and that everything is cash and that we HAVE to leave and go to an ATM. A person in our party spoke with the manager over the waitress phone and the manager threatened cops on anyone who left and didn't come back and pay their bill. Didn't even want to give a discount. Whoever the manger was/is handling the situation needs to be corrected and retrained on customer service. The waitress should not have had to feel like this was her fault. She was very upset.

Feb 27th 25, i readed the Bad reviews so i had to test it out, i was received and attended by a lady called Verónica, she was really sweet and kind, Made feel welcomed and appreciated, food was awesome, customer service was above and beyond. Timming was perfect.

Went about 830pm on a Monday , two servers ours kept disappearing , my food was cold , ran out of drinks and couldn't get them refilled , was never around and never checked on us, had to almost go into the kitchen to get the check and had to deal with 8 year Olds who just stood there screaming , horrible experience never going to IHOP again

We were here early morning on Monday when we got into town. Our server was Sophia and I wanted to make sure I came on here and left a wonderful review for her and the staff that was there Monday around 2/3 am. Sophia was phenomenal and the cook was spot on. My husband and I have been to alot of places and alot of Ihops as they are open late and this time was by far the best experience we have had at one of these locations. Everything was cooked exactly how it was ordered and Sophia was very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. I used to be in the restaurant business for over 9 years and was blown away that Sophia had only been a server for a short amount of time. I would of never guessed with how great she was at everything. way too often servers don't get the appreciation they deserve and I believe she absolutely should. Thank you for making me change my mind on Just coffee and a waffle when I got to any Ihop. This is the standard I hope all Ihop locations should use as the one here.
Some of the worst service I have ever received. Placed a carry out order. Walked in to see multiple staff members assisting ONE customer with placing a take out order... meanwhile nobody is attending to the several other people waiting, and I am watching my food at the pick up counter get cold for 15 minutes. Not even the first time I've watched my food sit there for several minutes. I understand they are busy, so usually not one to make a big deal out of this.
However, the line gets drawn when I got home and realized they didn't even give me everything I ordered. What should have been a simple take out order, ended up taking about an hour and a half to get everything resolved.
Not sure how such bad service time after time is even possible. Needless to say, I will not be coming back to this location again. If you want decent food and don't care about how bad your service is, then this still may be a place for you. But otherwise, save yourselves the trouble.
