While traveling in Louisville, we decided we had to try Louisville style pizza, of course. The recommendation from Google and Yelp was Impellizzeri's hands down, so off we went! We arrived about 7 on Saturday night, it was busy, but we were able to be seated within 10 min. Amazing location with street parking available. Great selection of Bourbon and beers available, and a great menu. They offer 4 styles of pizza: thin, original, thick, and Sicilian. We went with original, and it was perfect crust, with a chewy edge. Louisville style is two layers of cheese and toppings, with a slightly thicker than thin crust. We loved it, but it's very filling. Lots of leftovers, which is never bad. We always get 16in to maximize our slice to pizza ratio. Service was fast and attentive, their pizzas do take longer than your average, but it was worth it. I think ours took about 25 min.

Such a fun energy here! Our server was great! Talkative and helpful! The pizza was incredible! My only complaint is that my stomach wasn't big enough to eat more of their delicious pizza! Drinks were good. The atmosphere is really chill and cool. It's set in an old building that has been remodeled into a beautiful space.

I had the Spaghetti and meatballs with 2 garlic breadsticks. It was delicious and I loved the garlic sauce with the breadsticks. The best I've had in a while.

One of my favorite pizza places. I live in Northern KY and come back to Louisville and this place is always on my list. Tyler H is one of the best servers. He's friendly, attentive, and quick to fill drinks. Every time we walk in there we leave happy.

Our server was fantastic during our visit on a Friday evening. She made sure we had refills on our drinks and checked in with us often. We got a 12” sausage and green pepper pizza and it was amazing and delicious. Crust was soft and crispy, bottom was crisp and not soggy, cheese was melty and toppings were very well dispersed. We have ate at many pizza joints in our lifetime and Impellizzeri’s is by far one of the best and in my top 5 pizza places. We don’t get to visit Louisville often but Imp’s will be visited every time we can come through.

Impellizzeri's is a good stop in Louisville. The Service was exceptional, our sodas were never empty during our entire visit.

The highlight of the night as the cheese bread sticks. The breadsticks they serve here legit; 10/10 recommend.

The Pizza was also really good. All of the toppings were good and the crust is definitely made with care.

One of our absolute favorite spots in Louisville. We’ve been going here for years and this place never disappoints with its great food, local/regional draft offerings and stand-out service. The servers here are fantastic. Very kid friendly environment.

Kid-friendliness: High chairs and booster seats both available. Service staff is very accommodating for facilities with children. There is no dedicated kids menu, but plenty of kid friendly options. Our 2 year old loves the “pasta stix” (2 breadsticks) but our now 17-year-old loved the pasta offerings when she was younger.

High quality toppings, good pizza. Crust was a bit soggy. More expensive but worth it.

The family and I now frequent Imp’s(monthly rotation) once a month or so, we fell in love with the cheesy bread!! The meatball’s are delicious as well. We basically get everything besides olives on our pizza and it’s always basically perfect. Staff is super friendly and it’s always a consistent group of people you become familiar with so the place stays solid over time.

We have been occasional customers if Impellizzeri’s for almost 30 years. The last few years we’ve not gone very often . Went tonight for the first time in about a year and it was very disappointing. Quality of the food has gone downhill. The crust was burnt. There wasn’t much sauce on our pizza and the original crust was dry and thinner than the true original crust. It was OK, but not what I expect from Impellizzeri’s and just disappointing.

Here’s what you’re gonna do. You’re gonna order the Breadstix and the Burrata Bruschetta with no toast. You’re gonna use the Breadstix as a vehicle to deliver the Burrata Bruschetta to your mouth. You’re gonna experience a chorus of angels singing and a feeling of divine warmth. You’re gonna thank me for this.
