They have to be 1 of the best pizza spots in the state. The original pizza is great, but the deep dish pizza is phenomenal!

Celebrated my 31st birthday last night, and still after all these years hands down, best pizza in the Ville. Best pizza in KY. Best pizza in the WORLD. I have never had a better pizza, customer for life. Been coming for years. Came here as a kid with my parents. Came here when I turned 16 and got my first car. Brought my wife here on our first date. Brought her here for prom. Brought her here after we got married. Brought her here with our kids. Hopefully they bring their kids when they get older. If you haven't eaten here, you are missing out. Throw away those coupons from the hut and papa, you don't need them anymore!

I love the feel of this place it’s very homey still. When we got pepperoni pizza I didn’t expect such a monster of a pizza to come out it had two layers and was super cheesy. The crust was delicious and still a little crunchy. I typically go for a New York style, but this was a nice change. The wings were also really good. All the staff was very nice and service was quick. We would definitely come back!

I haven't been there for probably 15 years. When I walked in I almost turned around because of the smell. Not good. I ordered the spaghetti and meatballs to go, the sauce is just bland and I don't know how to describe the meatballs just bland and loose. The bread sticks are to doughy a little garlic flavor but I didnt care for them. I was so dissapointed with everything. The bartender was pleasant. I usually get bearnos but this is so much closer thought I would try them. Never again. Bearnos spaghetti and meatballs are pretty good

While traveling in Louisville, we decided we had to try Louisville style pizza, of course. The recommendation from Google and Yelp was Impellizzeri's hands down, so off we went!
We arrived about 7 on Saturday night, it was busy, but we were able to be seated within 10 min. Amazing location with street parking available.
Great selection of Bourbon and beers available, and a great menu. They offer 4 styles of pizza: thin, original, thick, and Sicilian. We went with original, and it was perfect crust, with a chewy edge. Louisville style is two layers of cheese and toppings, with a slightly thicker than thin crust. We loved it, but it's very filling. Lots of leftovers, which is never bad. We always get 16in to maximize our slice to pizza ratio.
Service was fast and attentive, their pizzas do take longer than your average, but it was worth it. I think ours took about 25 min.
