Went this morning with my daughter. Had what might have been the best coffee drink I’ve ever had - peppermint mocha latte - and found a really interesting book at a great price. The building - an old house - is fantastic. My new favorite coffee shop. Very highly recommended.

Cool dogs for coffee or ice cream

Poor service. Paying $5 for ice cream I would expect a smile and the employee acting like she’s doing me a favor. She was very annoyed that I visited the restaurant.

I love going to J-town Beach for ice cream, coffee, or just a light lunch during the day. After an average first date there (due to company not the environment), I decided to come back for the environment and delicious coffee. Every employee I've met is super sweet and helpful. I've been back several other times during the workweek for lunch and have never been disappointed. Can't believe I waited so long to stop by!

If you've ever wondered what it would be like to combine Comfy Cow and Quills, this is your place. The coffee is delicious, of course, and the staff is courteous and personable. A quaint little spot with some front porch sittin'.

This review is specifically for the beach house that just opened that is a part of the beach. It has such a cute and cozy feeling which is really nice. It would be a great place to study or get work done. My only issue was that the hours are 7 AM to noon. I went in around 11:20 to get some work done and grab tea and realized I couldn't stay long so I left. With finals and stuff coming, they could definitely do mid day and evening hours. Who's going to a coffee // ice cream place at 7AM when there's no drive thru? Not me! Either way- the service was great and the tea was super tasty.

I'm so jealous that I'm not athletic because I would spend all my summer nights up here if I could! Volleyball, bar, ice cream...what more could you want?!

Sweet place now moved to Taylorsville Ky. Worth the drive but make reservations. Order a loaf of her wonderful bread to take home and enjoy later. Her Desserts are out of this world ❣️❣️
