I do like this place. Never a bad meal. Truly one of my favorite spots for a steak and a glass of wine. We made quick reservations and they were ready. We were greeted and seated quickly. The early choices from simple menus. Your wine will come from one of the largest selections in Louisville. We welcomed a small plate of appetizers, enjoyed our conversation and the simple piano background. Our waiter gave us plenty of time to enjoy our visit. My wife ordered the trout as their special and I went for the beef filet. I do have the tendency to order this every time I show up. However, I've never left unhappy or disappointed. You will enjoy your time here. This is a great place for an easy meal for two or a celebration. There is always more that I could say about Jack Frys. But at this point I would simply be repeating myself.

My personal favorite in the city. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. The staff are friendly and lacking the pretentiousness this place qualifies for but the best part…every item on the menu. I haven’t made it through the entire menu yet but it’s a life goal. This is where the locals go for fine dining and some of the most in the know out of towners are eating also.

Food was great!!! At our server's recommendation two at our table got the pork chop. The pistachio crusted salmon was so good the plate was left empty, and the Jack's burger with the bacon jam was really a star; sometimes one just needs a great burger!!! Don't forget the beet and the brie salads and the burrata en croûte!!! Nothing to absorb the sound of louder guest if you are out for a romantic night; takes away from the ambient mood. The restaurant helps you celebrate special occasions with a small after dinner dessert to make an evening out special!!! Thanks Jack Fry's!!!

Elegant, classy and always a delicious meal! The service is attentive and helpful. We always go out of our way to eat here when we are in town. And the butternut squash is fabulous!
My Fiance and me have been going to Jack Frys for our anniversary for the past 4 years. There has never been a time where we were disappointed. We recently celebrated six years together on Oct 14 and our waiter Will was fantastic. He was very professional when i had ordered something that they had ran out of that night and he even took off my fiances drink he ended up not liking. What topped off the night was when he brought out a bunt cake for us and it even had a candle for our anniversary.
If you are looking for a nice date night restaurant i definitely recommend Jack Frys.

We arrived half an hour earlier than our reservation and the hostess happily seated us. The room was hopping with happy guests and a talented piano player. Drinks were outstanding as well as a rich selection of great bourbons. Pork chop was outstanding! Our waiter, Jamie, was attentive, personable, and thoughtful in his service. Great place to experience when in town.

We can for my husbands 30th and had the best time! The food was incredible and our waiter surprised him with a dessert on the house.

Jack Fry's has been a long-time favorite of mine. This visit I took a guest who had never been. She really enjoyed it. My husband and I got the salmon which is always on the menu and delicious. Our guest got the special which was a very good and original salad (that included latkes) on which she added chicken. All of our meals were delicious and the presentation good as well. Service was excellent as always.
