Ordered a small selection of breakfast options while I was staying at the attached hotel. The espresso drinks were all serviceable, even the boozy one I had, but this place has got some of the worst food I've had at a hotel breakfast place.
The omelette? over cooked, the chocolate scone? Stale, the blueberry scone was undercooked. Still wet batter in the center like a play-doh filling!

The Biscuits and Gravy were the worst of the food crimes committed here. Louisville is in the south. They should KNOW BETTER. It tastes like they forgot milk, salt, and pepper entirely, and made a gravy out of exclusively water and flour.

Coffee was good, Jackdaw Nest had way too much Hollandaise sauce a little pricey.

If you want breakfast don’t expect anything early. Nothing is prepped and since they don’t open until 6:30 you’re looking at closer to 7am before you get anything besides pastries.

Friendly service! Scones were great. We tried the maple pecan and it tasted like a gourmet version of a cinnamon brown sugar pop tart. So yummy!! Paired with lattes which were excellent. Walked down from hotel on a rainy day. Loved the experience for a lazy morning treat. Would definitely recommend.

First became aware of Jackdaw at the 2024 Margaritas in the ‘Ville event, where they served suuuuch a good marg omg. So I popped in the other day to see the actual location, and am definitely glad I did!! Would highly recommend them to anyone looking for something lowkey and tasty on Whiskey Row. Ana behind the bar was the best—so sweet and attentive, and very knowledgeable about the menu ❤️

Ordered 2 lattes one 16 oz one 12 oz, both with an extra shot of espresso. $15.80, $20 with tip. Crazy $$ for a morning pick me up.

Great little hole in the wall while looking around for coffee. A warm and inviting team helped us decide what coffee and pastry we should get. Definitely coming back.

I may have just had the best BLT in my entire life the kind of meal that you keep thinking about once you had it. The bacon was crispy, the tomato is so fresh and so is the lettuce, and as well as the bread so soft it melts in your mouth. The drinks are good too, we had strawberry chocolate cold brew & my chai latte. If you’re looking for a no frill, chill breakfast place in Louisville better try this one!

Just went in for a bourbon and coffee drink. The Louisville handshake is fire but it does take an acquired taste

Bacon tasted like it had been on the counter too long. Might of turned before cooking. Either way $18 for 2 eggs some potatoes and 2 or 3 slices of gross bacon.
