I may have just had the best BLT in my entire life the kind of meal that you keep thinking about once you had it. The bacon was crispy, the tomato is so fresh and so is the lettuce, and as well as the bread so soft it melts in your mouth. The drinks are good too, we had strawberry chocolate cold brew & my chai latte. If you’re looking for a no frill, chill breakfast place in Louisville better try this one!
Ordering breakfast, they were out of bacon or sausage. Only ham. Which was like deli ham. Husbands biscuit & gravy says biscuits were not very fresh. My eggs just so so. Coffee drinks great and muffin. Expensive for what we got.
If you're visiting for a weekend or a Louisville native Jackdaw is one of those gems everyone should try at least once. I go to University close by and would stop here frequently on the way to class. Even though is a little further away than some other options closer to campus, the extra time was worth it. Their food is delicious, fresh, and they're willing to make accommodations for any dietary restrictions or allergies. My go to was the jackdaw burrito and Miel latte....
