We were just driving through Louisville July 4th 2025 and googled hamburgers. This place popped up so we drove over. This is the absolute best burger in AMERICA! Local Beef and the fries are cooked in beef tallow! Wonderful staff, very friendly and helpful.. I don’t need you to take my word for it. Come see for yourself. So Good!

Went for lunch today for the first time and this place is a gem. The burger and fries are so damn good! It definitely didn't disappoint. This may become to new weekly lunch spot :)
It is not enough to merely call this the best burger in Louisville or best burger in the country. In fact there are few greater joys in life than enjoying a Jay’s burger during a lunch break. Go here and enjoy a burger you will never stop craving in your lifetime

Was visiting old Louisville and passed the food truck and if I come back up this way would definitely go back. Great backyard smash burger and shoe string fries. Everything was hot and had great flavor. Definitely get the jays sauce and dip the fries in it. They also have Cornhole to play while you wait for your food.

Their grass fed burger has notes of Tall Fescue and Bermuda Grass, with a slightly sweet horse compost finish. Absolutely amazing! Pair it with a nice Açai Kombucha!
Seriously though, its a good smash burger, but the absolutely raving reviews are too much for me. People seem to go over board because its a truck that only opens a few days a week for a couple of hours at a time serving farm to truck grass fed beef.
In my honest opinion, Toasty's is still the top smash burger in Louisville. It is also cheaper and you wash it down it with a cold and beer.
Try both and see for yourself which one is better.
