I've been reading about Jay's for a month. So I decided to try it. Disappointed to say the least. There's nothing special about their burgers or fries. No exceptional taste or seasoning. For over $15, go to Wendy's or Burger King and get a better tasting hamburger and fries with a drink cheaper. No wonder they're only open 3 days a week. A half of a day would be better.

I went to Jay’s yesterday based on a friend’s recommendation & it was just as I was told! The burger was truly the best burger I’ve ever had! Hot & juicy, dressed perfectly & it’s grass-fed beef! And the cute lil hot fries are cooked in real beef Tallow. Who does that anymore? 😊 Everybody in the food truck was super nice. Filled me up for the rest of the day & I’ll def be back. 👍🏽

Everything is fried in tallow and there seems to be no issue with cross contamination for people that have gluten issues, its very GF friendly !!!! Honestly I wish they could cater for my wedding next year!

This is without question the best burger in Louisville, the cost is higher than fast food but the quality makes the value line up perfectly. This is a place that needs to just be tried, I can't describe it well enough to make sense. The staff is amazing every time, just kind, happy people that love what they are doing. I can't say enough good about it, it's worth trying for yourself.
