Finally good live music again! Great bartenders and good service! Plan to buy your tickets online in case they're sold out or don't have a wait list or have maximum capacity. Also, seating is semi minimal so plan to be there earlier if you would like a chair with view of the band.

A super cool establishment! Please do yourself a favor and eat, drink and be merry here!

Louisville needed a place like this for a long, long time. An intimate, classy club with great live music and tasty drinks. Depending on who is playing, this very small venue can get packed very quickly, where it’s standing room only and squeezing through people to get to the restroom or bar. It also makes it hard for short people to see, but the trick is going up the staircase and viewing the show from above (however this is not always an option if staff are managing the door). It is the ideal setting when the tables are set out and you can listen to great music in a dimly lit attractive space. Don’t be afraid to share tables either. The bar can have a bit of a wait sometimes. You’ll want to Insta a selfie under the neon sign “We’re All Animals,” and the flamingo wallpapered bathroom. Ticket prices are determined by whether it’s a touring or local band, but all ticket pricing is reasonable.

I visited Jimmy Can't Dance for The Jeese Lees - Back/Black show. To sum it up, I left with hope for humanity. I will absolutely be returning.

Strangest bar I've ever been to. I will definitely be back.

This place is hidden under a sandwich shop. The cover charge is $10, well worth it. Here you’ll find a bar which serves some classic cocktail as well as tiki cocktails, which are good. If going on a weekend, they’ll have a band playing. The atmosphere is friendly. The vibe is energetic. And the staff is good. If you’re in Louisville, is well worth checking out.

Some of the music was great, some not so great. But the place has a great vibe and we really enjoyed it.

Great little jazz club with an outstanding bar. We thoroughly enjoyed the Charlie Brown xmas show here. Some of the best old fashioneds in the city. Not really sure how many I had!

Small, charming venue. Music and drinks were good. They were slammed when I arrived, despite being incredibly busy the bartenders did a fantastic job busting drinks out. Can't wait to go again.

An amazing Louisville gem. Fantastic music and great cocktails. Very classy! The sandwich shop upstairs is great too

Music was great! The drinks were well made, but only one bartender so the line got to be a really long wait. Get there about an hour early to get a seat. There wasn't much room to dance when we were there, but the regulars said there are times with few tables and room to dance! Well worth a fun evening!

May have just been a bad night, but service was not good. Music was fine, but rude bartenders made it not worth the $10 cover.

Excellent place! If you like Jazz this place is perfect, with an environment full of good vibes and good live music. You won't regret it.

My friends and I came here on a Saturday night for the first time and really enjoyed it for the most part! It's hidden under a sandwich shop and we paid a $10 cover charge. You walk downstairs to a really cool, dark, and intimate setting with a small bar, a few areas for seating, and a stage for the band. Had a genuine speakeasy feel with the brick walls and low lighting. We got there around 9 and found a seat for 6 people with no problem. Though it definitely started to get more crowded with limited seating around 10. Between the 6 of us, we tried quite a few drinks off of their cocktail menu (posted). Their Old Fashioned and Drunk on the Moon were delicious! We also ordered the Swan and Pistol which the bartender described as "bitter" and bitter it was! We all described it as like chewing on a grapefruit peel lol. The Riding With Lady Luck (posted) was definitely not for me as it was also very bitter. I believe the bartender, after making it, mentioned that "it's a tough one" lol. The Ol' 55 was exactly what you'd expect it to be and not bad at all! The Hot Buttered Rum was okay if you enjoy hot alcoholic beverages. Staff was very nice and inviting!
