We had to get a new baker about 2 weeks before my daughter’s New Year’s Eve wedding. Jackie really stepped up to the plate, lol. She loved the untraditional cake idea with disco balls. It was beautiful.We also had cheesecakes and they were delicious and beautiful as well.Thank you Jackie for coming through for us on such last minute.

Picked up several items while in Louisville this week. I don't recommend the cinnamon rolls, they were dry and hard. However, the cinnamon swirl coffee cake was moist and delicious and the chocolate croissant was also yummy. I also got a raspberry macaron and OMG it was amazing. Perfect crisp on the outside and so fluffy and chewy on the inside. I'd order a dozen of these anytime!

It's one of the BEST croissants in my entire life! Highly highly recommend. Everything in the display case looked absolutely fantastic, but only had room for 1 item, and with a grumbling stomach, I chose the croissant for the morning and it did not disappoint! Not sure what the 1 star ratings are talking about, but I'm going to pop in here and let you guys know the truth. Try this place out.

Ya’ll the pictures do not do this one justice. My dear mama was celebrating her 60th Birthday and we decided to take a trip to the Omni Hotel in Louisville. I wanted to get her a special cake and to my surprise this bakery was in the Falls City Market attached to the Omni. I contacted Chef Jackie a little late with a very vague “peacock” theme request and told her she could be creative… The JJ Bakes team delivered. The theme, the cake & macaroons were perfection. Ms Shay even stayed past closing for us to pick it up! Needless to say, my mother is still thanking me for the “most beautiful and delicious cake” she’s ever had.

The service is excellent. The ham and guere roll was delicious. One of the best items we've tasted here in Louisville. Chef Jackie was incredibly joyful to meet a fan and chat!! She puts her heart into her business and her products. Definitely stop and pick up a treat, one for now and another for later!

Hands down the best macaroons and banana bread (no nuts!!) we have ever had!! Unique flavors, large portions, and so fresh. Can’t wait to try more treats.
