Juno Japanese Restaurant - Westport

I have been patronizing Juno's for over 2+ years. Hiring a new sushi chef a couple of months ago has made a huge negative impact on the Salmon Tataki. The newer sushi chef prepared the Salmon Tataki 2 months ago with seasonings that had not been used for well over the past 2+ years with negative palatable results. I immediately contacted the lady owner who apologized and offered to comp. my next Salmon Tataki order while assuring me that the new Sushi chef would undergo training. On 12/10/24 @ 7:48 p.m. after 2 months of my negative experience I finally decided to retry my old weekly favorite. The Salmon Tataki was cooked well done instead of being seared and the sushi chef used the less than palatable seasonings that were used 2 months ago. You have now lost what was a very loyal customer due to the decrease in the quality of your Tataki.

This place is an absolute rip-off from bad food, nasty restrooms, and they have the audacity to overcharge. When they bill, you watch your credit card statement because they're going to take more money then they are due. I do not recommend this restaurant even to a dog

If you like Hibachi grill this is good location. Lots of grills and seating. The food was pretty standard for this type of restaurant.

Food was pretty good atmosphere is pretty awesome. They have music in the background had the NFL football game playing but the server was standing over me with his arms crossed when the check came really killed my vibe.

Best Japanese restaurant we’ve been to in years. The lady who took care of us was great, food was great, atmosphere great and the 80’s music playing just seamed right! Love this place.

Quality hibachi, sushi and saki in a nice relaxed atmosphere. You don't have to do the whole hibachi show if that's not for you, you can just sit at a normal table or the sushi bar. Many creative and delicious sushi rolls, some even deep-fried.

As an Asian living in Singapore and frequently having Japanese cuisine, the quality of the Japanese food here is really comparable to the base standards of Japan so if you need an Asian cuisine fix, this won't disappoint at all!

Great experience & food.We usually eat at the other Juno's, but came to this one for the hibachi grill. Both places have great food
