Kabuki Food Truck Cane Run Louisville

I wasn’t sure about this food truck as it was parked at an old run down gas station, but I was in the area around lunchtime and decided to give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised, service was friendly and food was good. If I’m ever in this area in the future, I won’t hesitate to stop here again.

BEWARE!!! There are homeless people on drugs hanging around this food truck/old abandoned gas station. They ask for money and when you say no they get really mean and hostile. The homeless guy got mad and threatened to hit me then started insulting my mother for no reason. This area looks very rough and the food truck employees refused to do anything about it. I did not even get a chance to order anything nor would I after that. They lost a sale.

Quality of food was phenomenal! Except portions were unsatisfactory. I ordered the shrimp & steak just to get 4 pieces of shrimp and about 6-7 small pieces of steak.

It's been a very long time since I had such good food. No other food truck is comparable in Louisville, just my opinion. Steak and shrimp hibachi is straight up fire! My wife's and daughters meals, 10 out of 10. Stop by for sure!

The food is great considering it's a food truck. The place has its busy moments and the wait can belong during those times. The food is always fresh.

This place is a hidden gem of Louisville, 3 star atmosphere because, well, it's a food truck. 4 star service because there is a bit of a language barrier. 5 star food because it's really good. I've loved East Asian food since I was a kid, my wife and I frequent a few places around here for Hibachi. This place is a match even given the limitations of a food truck. I'd highly recommend it.
