This location has really gone downhill. Here we are a couple days past an ice storm, which wasn't even that bad, and they're closing at 7pm, 3 hours early, trying to turn people away at the door. What happened to 24/7? Now we're closing at 7pm? Are you trying to go out of business?...
This place is very good shopping experience and has mostly everything you will need
Consistently will only open a few lanes to checkout. Customer service is getting worse by the day. Today not one shopping cart. Someone needs to manage this place. I can be at Kroger in two minutes. I pass it up for a ten minute ride to Walmart. Sad
I’m just curious how long Kroger and Walmart Myers are going to get away with selling people poisonous products
Medications are never ready at the pharmacy.
I’ve only been twice but both times there’s been no carts, the cooked food had been sitting there all day under the lamps, the amount of fruit flies in the fruit/veggie section was almost hard to believe. So many of them I think someone should call a professional. Several shelves empty or running very low on a Friday afternoon. I got some plantain chips last time that were several months expired, unfortunately.
It’s a shame! We deserve a great store like that on the south side, but this one feels run down and forgotten almost. I really hope they can turn it around.
We've been customers at the Auburndale Kroger for 20+ years. Up until the last year, I would have given the store a 3 star at best and sometimes a 1 star. We had issues with lack of staff or unsupervised staff, produce that was poorly organized and past its peak ripeness, and too often out of stock sale or popular items. These issues caused us to visit other Kroger stores and other chains more often than not. Over the last several months there has been a marked improvement in all areas of the store, but especially the service. There are more employees for sure, but even more important is that each and everyone is friendly, helpful and attentive to customer needs. Each one greets customers, seems focused on their job, helps each other out as needed at check-out and cleans and organizes their areas. The store feels better organized, cleaner and more inviting than ever before. I'm not sure if there is a new manager but we appreciate the professionalism and effort of the staff...we interacted with produce, meat, frozen, general grocery and check out staff(including a new cashier being trained) and each person was friendly, helpful and engaging.
I am happy to continue to support this store as my neighborhood grocery. Last visit 8/27/24 ~ 10 am.
Terrible experience with pick up then in person customer service. Picked up an order just to get home and milk had busted open and it expires tomorrow. Even though the app shows “10 day freshness guaranteed”. Also picked up a rotisserie chicken, got the smallest and frailest looking one. Tortillas all crunched up. This isn’t the first time I’ve questioned the freshness or quality of items like fruits and veggies just assumed it was just a bad day/pick.
Drove back up to Kroger to stand in line for over 20 mins with only 1 person working the desk with 10+ people in line. I’m sure there’s a manager somewhere who could’ve came down and helped her out.
Please please please supervise wisely the preparation of your foods. This orange juice it's not expired but it tastes like the oranges that were squeezed went bad. I can't be making trips back to the supermarket to return for my money back. It had happened with the salmon too. I was so excited to drink my expensive juice 🫤
HORRIBLE customer service. I want to give zero stars but it’s not an option!. There is a nasty, rude, and miserable young red-neck white lady named Kim, working and picking at everyone walking in the door and out leaving at the formula section. I did not know this newly section for formula and that I have to pay at her desk. So, I got the formula and passed by her going to pay at the regular line. She yelled at me really nasty saying heeyyyh you pay here. Not everyone is a thief and I refuse to do business anywhere that treats everyone that walks through the formula section like one. This employee should either be moved to another store and freakin get extensive training.

Great place to shop. Always stocked and Great Staff.
If I could give their pharmacy negative stars I would. Nothing but a bunch of senile old ladies up here that are slow as can possibly be. Has taken them two days to fill one prescription with a total of 16 pills in it. I've came up there 4 times and they've told me every time it'll be an hour or two. It's insane I tell ya. And no this is not just a one time ordeal it's happened twice. I've had zero good experiences with their pharmacy out of the 10 times or so I've had to get prescriptions filled.
Nice, neat, organized and my cashier and bagger were fantastic!
Very pleasant visit 😊
Wish it was open later it would be a perfect neighborhood grocery
