The "fresh" produce here is a joke. Also pretty sure they use the pickup function to get ride of their spoiled produce. I cannot wait for Publix to open. This store is a joke.

Deli and Bakery continually screw up orders. No accountability- no management. presence.

Only 8 months to go and we no longer have to endure this pathetic Kroger store. Publix will stomp this store closed within months. Apparently Butchers are no longer allowed to cut steaks. I'm sure their Union wrote that into the handbook. So sad.

Kroger lost me as a fan during the pandemic .. I feel like they took advantage of customers and the situation.. Their prices immediately went up that first week & have continued since .. I have visited other kroger stores in the Louisville area & each one was better than the forest spring Kroger .. FS kroger on Lagrange road .... their produce section is the worst & they never have enough checkouts open .. they even close down the self checkouts way too much .. I've been in there many times when the lines were all the way down the grocery isles.. and I've walked out a few times .. It's not a good place overall ..I now drive out of my way to meijer ..

Pickup here is the worst from my experience, very short staffed. Two weekends in a row my pickup time was moved to a later time/or next day. They never send subs for approval. I think store is out of workers to be honest. The ones they have are great and helpful, we appreciate them. Please Kroger send help to the Lagrange Rd Kroger

They claimed that they didn't have enough employees available to open all of their self-check out lanes. They only had two full service lanes open so the lines of people waiting to pay actually ran down the food aisles making it impossible to get to the food on the shelves. They need to have some of the people who are stocking the already full shelves switch over to check out. If you can't man your store it probably shouldn't be open. Hire more people!! I just called to speak with a Kroger employee and I told her I would go to Meijer or Target next time and she said, "Yeah that's where I go." That pretty much says it all.

Stopped by for a few items. Ripped my hand at the gym, needed Vaseline. Found a pharmacy employee stocking the shelves. She smiled and was happy to help me. She showed me three places where the sell Vaseline- the pharmacy, the baby aisle and in the travel aisle near shaving. Then, I bought some over the counter allergy medicine. I didn't want 24, I wanted 12, but I also wanted them to be the same price per pill. So the pharmacy tech had to ring up both separately to give me a price check. She was kind and very patient to do that. As it turns out, the 24 pick is cheaper per pill so I bought that. In the grocery aisle, I could not find arugula. They were all out. I also could not find organic asparagus. Maybe this item doesn't exist because Trader Joe's doesn't have it either and they were also out of arugula. Weird. Bacon was on sale, so of course I had to get that. Neither one of my Kentucky friends' phone numbers were working at check out. Strange. But instead of signing up, I tried my Arizona friend's number and it worked! We don't have Kroger where I live, so I don't have a shopper card. Overall, super friendly staff members who will go overboard to help you but lacking some items.

Always out of stock on many things including items in produce and dairy. Store is too small for an area that has doubled in population in just the last 3 years. Hope you never have stand in line for the pharmacy as well.

Giving this Kroger location 5 stars. I just use this for gas, but it's such a great spot convenient to my way to and from work. I am always able to pull right in and fill up. I like to use my Kroger points which saved me $.20 on a fill up. Excellent savings!

I needed to pick up a few odds n ends on my way home so I made a quick stop here. I did not find this store to be a very welcoming place. I walked into the produce dept. and passed four different working employees. Not a word. I stopped at several other depts. on my way through the store and the only recognition I got as a customer was from a nice lady in the bakery who said hello, can I help you? Even when I went to checkout, the cashiers only words were "do you have your card"? No smile, no welcome, no thank you for shopping here. Further reasons why I do not shop at Kroger regularly.

Kroger is probably one of the best grocery stores in the city. This location has a great, friendly staff that focuses on customer service. Prices are reasonable and fair. Milk is not outrageously priced as compared to other grocery chains where a gallon of milk is $7.00?!?! That cow must be made of gold. Anyways, the produce at this store is fresh and the staff does a great job of rotating the product daily and making sure the freshest product is always out for the customers. The store had a great display for Derby and it was visible right close to check out. The shelves were always full and product was rotated to make sure the freshest product was out front. If you are in the Pewee Valley area. be sure to stop by this Kroger. It will be the best decision you make.

Clicklist for the win when it is too cold and wintry to get out of the car. This is one of the spots that actually does it well. The staff is always courteous and willing to help. This trip was $100 worth of groceries, two substitutions and only one item not in stock. I will be back especially for the next winter storm. The only reason why I gave them four stars is because one of the items they claimed they didn't have, I walked right into the store, found it and bought it within two minutes of pickup.

Friendly staff, fresh produce and bakery items. Excellent prices. I shop here frequently and like the Kroger online coupons.

My wife and I live a mile away from the Kroger in middletown, but choose this one for various reasons. Above all this Kroger has excellent customer service. They have gone above and beyond for us to take care of missing items from click list or helping us locate something in the store. Sure they may have messed up a couple click list orders but they make up for it in the way they treat you and try to make it right

I shop at this Kroger all the time. It's fairly well represented in each of the various departments. What I like more than anything (up until about two months ago) was the intuitive layout of the store. Quite recently though, the store has undergone a major re-shuffle... I've shopped there multiple times since and I still scratch my head as to why they moved things where they did... now I'm completely lost each time I go there and I find myself having to back track over and over, plus I'm having to ask where things are a lot. It's almost as if they hired Stevie Wonder to do their floor layout... in case you're wondering where the cake mix is, they're in the aisle opposite the pasta.... They've also broken up all the organic foods and distributed them across the store (in theory), try finding the organic cereal... it's not in the cereal aisle... I've actually still not found it... Terrible decisions, I hope they figure it out soon or off to the Kroger on 22 I'll be taking my business.
